“On arrival we were told we couldn’t be checked in until 17:00. When Booking.com said 15:00. We were expected to sit at the reception after a long journey. We told the receptionist we would not have booked it if we knew that check in is 17:00, which is ridiculous if you ask me. She then checked us in at 15:00.
The room was in the corner, which meant it had two big windows and was spacious, with two single beds joined together (hated), when I was expecting a big bed. Air conditioner working and the windows can be opened. The room had the view of the square but it’s a nightmare at night. It was too noisy, and the public transport just doesn’t seem to stop. In a nutshell, the view is not worth the discomfort at night. I did not sleep well at all, in these two nights. The beds were comfy though.
Another thing, don’t pay upfront if you are given the option. We paid twice as much for the rooms when today the rates are shockingly halved.”
