“So far my stay has been pretty nice. The lady that helped me check in was very kind and professional. As a gold rewards member, I was able to get into my room early, which was greatly appreciated since I had an early morning flight. This location isn’t far from downtown and there are a ton of restaurants close by. if you feel like getting your steps in, then they are within walking distance. Otherwise, they may be a short 10 minute drive. As always, the beds are super comfortable and the hotel it is pretty quiet.”

“We were in town for a conference and the host hotel was sold out, so we booked the nearby SpringHill Suites. It’s a Marriott, so thought it would be a really nice property. Sadly, it needs a prompt renovation. Let’s start with the positive: friendly staff, good breakfast, 24 hour tea/coffee/filtered water, and local shuttle service on the hour. As for the rooms, they were drab. The bathtub had rust and old ceramic tile. It was the kind you would never bathe in, no matter how badly you wanted a bath. The A/C is a unit on the floor that rumbles all night long or turns on/off constantly. I was promised “light housekeeping” but no one cleaned the room or replenished towels. So, overall, there are way too many options nearby that are a better value. If we are paying $150/night, you could get away with it, but not $250-300, which is what we paid. It wasn’t the Marriott brand I’m used to. So when I travel back to Phx, I’ll be choosing a different hotel until that one is properly modernized.”
