The NH Collection Madrid Suecia hotel is in the heart of the city's historic center, just a walk away from the Spanish capital's major cultural and tourist attractions as well its famous shopping areas. Renovated in 2014, the hotel was originally opened in 1956 by the Swedish royal family, and was Ernest Hemingway's Madrid home. Modern yet charming, the hotel offers 123 bright, spacious rooms spread across 10 floors. Expect stylish design and a functional, contemporary look. You can enjoy spectacular views of the city from the Ático Casa Suecia terrace on the hotel rooftop, and unwind in the fitness room. This popular hotel enjoys an excellent, central location in the tourist centre of Madrid close to the old town and the Prado museum. “Fantastic location, very accommodating staff. We had a small room, but super comfortable bed, stylishly decorated, cool bathroom with the BEST walk-in shower EVER (hot, high pressure rain shower head + handheld, and quite spacious). Nice DeLonghi pod espresso maker in the room; you can ask for more coffee pods, milk and bottled water for your coffee. Well priced for Madrid (I paid the same for an OK Airbnb). My only complaint would be the carpet when you walk in the front door is stained and tattered, but that's easily fixed so I am not sure why it's like that. And 24 euros each for breakfast is quite high.Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, couldn't beat the location!”

“Ótimo hotel, ótima localização, ótimo atendimento.Funcionários muito simpáticos, decoração e ambiente agradáveis no hotel, o pequeno almoço era muito bom, adorei a tortilha e as frutas (pão tão assim). Os quartos são bem decorados e a vista era perfeita. Tive um problema com o barulho vindo do telhado, mas a gentileza e o profissionalismo da equipe compensaram, gracias 🙏🏻 O bar speakeasy é um absoluto deve fazer! Recomendo 💯”
