“We have stayed at the Westin Lake Las Vegas twice. The property is beautiful and pool and surrounding area breathtaking. Pricing is very reasonable and it is so close to Las Vegas, however, away from the hustle and bustle. The reason for the three rating is our most recent stay. Staff was super friendly and all was enjoyable. The reason for my three rating a cabana charge we were not told about in advance and the oh so difficult process about getting it resolved. It was simply unbelievable. We called two months in advance to book a cabana, asking about a charge for it we were told free - Showing up after TWO hours into the day, we get a bill for $250. Talking to the front desk supervisor at end of the day, she was absolutely horrible to deal with. She could do nothing to help and refused to provide their general managers contact info, only the assistant email. Days later, I got it squared away and they said it would be refunded... Two months later and it has not been. Horrible experience with personnel, however, very beautiful resort.”

“Beautiful location and property, great multi level lobby facing the lake with its own lagoon feeding from the lake. Rick's Cafe had great quick food for lunch. Chicken wings were really good for a hotel restaurant. The rooms are very nice and clean. The hotel and bar/restaurant staff were really nice and had great customer service skills. The valet man who helped us was very cool and even held hotel door open for us. Can be pricey to stay here, but if you can get a deal or use points, it is worth it.”
