“This was our fourth year at The James. Always a relaxing, comfortable getaway with friendly, helpful staff. We love the atmosphere and the location is excellent. Yes, we heard middle of the night sirens. It's a city! Looking forward to next year. We realized two weeks later we had left a jacket behind. The hotel staff confirmed our stay and had record of our missing jacket which will be shipped to us. Impressive!”

“The room was well stocked and the toiletries smell fantastic! The bedding is good. The hotel rooms are very well decorated. The first floor wasn't open making getting to the restaurant impossible without going outside. The hotel is also not accessible except by stairs while under construction. Also the AC was not working well and it became extremely hot during the night. That occurred to two others that were staying in different room as well.”
