Hotel was very clean, property was nice, staff were friendly. The food was amazing. Always ate at the buffet because it had such a good variety of food that was always good. Not much to do on the resort but you are able to go to the hotel next door where there was a ton of entertainment. They could use a gym with equipment, that would be my only downfall to the trip. I would still return to this resort.

The staff is super nice and helpful! The location is absolutely gorgeous and the resort itself is a beautiful open style design. We had no problems getting anything done. The food was good, I wasn't coming in expecting Michelin star food, some dishes are definitely better than others, but I think everyone can find something they like.

The palace is a very beautiful resort right on the water! The food is very good, lots of options for dinner and all of them are great! The bar service is mediocre but the customer service is terrible. While we stayed, we talked to countless individuals who had personal items stolen from inside their safes including passports, ID, money, credit cards, computers. Their management did absolutely nothing for any of these people. They never once got an apology or recognition, in fact they questioned their guests about their stolen items. It is clearly a staff member stealing these things and the management supports them! Stealing someone’s passport/ID can be a lifelong detriment; this was not taken nearly as serious as it should have been. We are paying a lot of money to stay at a 5 star resort and there is no safety. On our last day, we went back to our room to find our hotel room door wide open and our balcony door (which was dead bolted) wide open. We will never stay again which is disappointing because it’s a very nice resort.

This place is beautiful. There were several reviews complaining about the food. I personally thought the food was great other than it needed a better variety. The people were nice to us. They were very helpful. The reason for the 4 star is because we didn't know the Santa Fe was shut down and we went over for the water park and they security person sent us to the adults only then when we tried to return they made us go threw the beach and we didn't have the proper clothes or shoes on for that. So that wasn't a good thing.

All good reviews here are fake. Or 99% are. Only left a few 1 stars. And this deserves it. Room smelled like wet sewage. Most of the Staff are rude. Food is not great. Putting it nice. Stupid rules Also asked to be woken up to catch the shuttle. Not only did they forget. They charged us $50 for staying 15 min past checkout. No joke. Reused to let us leave before we paid it and made us take a taxi they picked. I can go on. And we supposedly paid for the better hotel. 100 different and this stands out for all the wrong reasons.

Our arrival we were greeted with Margaritas. The staff Alex and Domingo who work at the Buffetand The steak house were friendly,courteous, professional and went out of there way to make us feel like princess. Excelente, el servicio de Luis en la recepción muy buena, educado y cordial, nos hizo sentir cómodas y bienvenidas y él estuvo también en el check out y con una gran actitud. Alejandro del restaurante Italiano nos dió un excelente atención y servicio, en ese mismo lugar el Capitán Miguel. Ana con una atención muy amable Los meseros a la orilla de la Alberca y los del Bar siempre educados y atentos. Los alimentos deliciosos y con una gran variedad. La Sra. Gregoria (de las quesadillas) muy bien Las Sritas del Café Capuchino amables también. Felicidades a ésta empresa por tener a éste personal. Sin embargo hubo algunas fallas : La camarista olvidó sacar la basura del bote que está junto al espejo de cuerpo entero. Y no realizó la limpieza de nuestra junior suite.

Lugar estratégico, el personal bien capacitado y bien organizado, sus instalaciones limpias cómodas. La habitación cuenta con elementos para planchar, cuenta con caja fuerte amplia y sobre todo un mini bar bien surtido con agua, cerveza, ron, tequila. Sus albercas, limpia, amplias y bien ubicadas dentro del complejo. Hablemos de su gastronomía, sus desayunos variados y con buen sabor. En lo que respecta a los restaurantes de especialidades el número uno es... Caruso. Con buen gusto y gran variedad de mariscos y otros platillos. Me gustaría felicitar en persona al estratega que está al frente, excelente trabajo.Espero en un futuro volver a disfrutar este magnífico lugar.

É excelente em quase tudo. Ótimas acomodações, piscinas fantásticas e alimentação realmente muito boa. Boas opções de lazer e festas quase todas as noites. É ambiente mais adulto, embora suporte visita com crianças também. Mas para ir com crianças há opções melhores em outros lugares. A praia tem areias branquinhas mas o mar é extremamente perigoso e não deixam vc nem chegar perto da água. Também não se recomenda atividades fora do resort devido a região ser um pouco perigosa.

A estrutura do hotel é linda, os horários de funcionamento dos restaurantes e bares no entanto, são limitados (até as 22:00). Para crianças, só percebi a área da piscina (suuuper legal). A praia é de queda, bastante violenta para crianças e mesmo adultos. Fui em Maio.

I am shocked by any negative reviews here, overall this was an excellent experience. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, I never met one person I felt any differently about. Our room was gorgeous, clean and the bed was comfortable. Our fridge was restocked daily and all towels changed over. Before our last night we used the app to request a room clean and they did a beautiful job! The bartenders were engaging and the drinks were great. The phone app allowed us to request more waters and pillows and both were there in under 20 minutes. The buffet was excellent for all meals and had such a variety. I didn't have one bad meal. I understood that lobster is out of season there so it makes sense it's not on the menu. That's okay because the rest of it was great! The nightly entertainment and ability to pop over to Santa Fe's night club was great. We did leave the resort a few times, and a cab was called for us by one of the staff members. The resort is exceptionally clean and well kept - I can't emphasize this enough. I woke up early every morning and watched them clean all the pool areas exquisitely while sitting on my balcony. The people were great, it was clean and safe, the drinks were excellent and the experience a 10/10.

Como todo lugar tiene cosas buenas y malas, lo bueno: Varias albercas, aparte área infantil con toboganesy un áreapara grandes 4 albercas bastante grandes, lo malo es que el agua está muy fría, si se llega a "entibiar" pero igual nos toco mucho viento, esperábamos más calor, fuimos en mala época.Muchas personas extranjeras para mi gusto, son muy escandalosos en las noches, gritando por los pasillos, y no falta el mala copa. Afortunadamente el trato me parece que es el mismo para todosya que hay hoteles donde se ve que no atienen a los mexicanos por darle preferencia a los extranjeros.Muy caro lo que venden adentro y en general en todos lados 🤭Es un hotel para desvelarse todos los días porque es de pura fiesta, no investigamos bien antes de hacer la reservacion.La comida, toda la semana hubo lo mismo de desayuno, de lunch si era un poco más variado, pasamos al restaurante "mexicano" y pues nada que ver, mucho marisco siento que esa idea que tienen de México no es la correcta.Muy lejos del aeropuerto, el hotel se encuentra como a 40 min aprox, sin contar que si vas con un paquete y otras personas van a otros hoteles pues te llevas más tiempo, ya que por ser de los últimos van dejando a los demás primero.Muchas habitaciones, la villa siete tiene elevador, lo que nos platicaba era que como es la villa más cerca del lobby (pero la más cercana a la playa) decidieron poner elevador ya que llegas cansado. El hotel es como una mini ciudad con casitas 😁 la idea está padre pero si esta muy grande, recorres mucho para llegar a tu habitación.

Un hotel ideal para ir en familia (adultos) o con amigos, no lo recomiendo mucho para ir con niños pequeños debido a que la mayoría de las actividades son para adultos; como pool parties, aqua aerobics, lanzamiento de dardos, toboganes, clases de crossfit, de baile, por mencionar algunas. Por la noche, se puede ir a la discoteca, hay shows en la explanada principal (imitadores, música en vivo, baile etc). O también cenar en alguno de sus restaurantes temáticos: comida japonesa, italiana, mexicana o cortes de carnes. Aunque también están los tacos o en sport bar donde hay snacks como hoy dogs, burritos, sandwich. Hay más de 10 bares en el hotel.Las habitaciones están muy limpias, y en el frigobar hay licores para servirse a su gusto, además de agua y refrescos que ponen en el frigobar todos los días.Es muy rápido hacer el check-in y check-out.Viajé en Mayo 2022 y en la playa había bandera roja (riesgoso meterse al mar) pero la playa está muy bonita, limpia y el agua un poco fría.El hotel queda a 15 min del centro de Los Cabos.Un buen hotel a un muy buen precio

Buen hotel. La atención del personal es extraordinaria, todos super amables y atentos. Lejos del aeropuerto, como la mayoría de los hoteles. Deben poner un poco más de atención en la satisfacción final del cliente para sus traslados, ya que muchos se van descontentos por los altos costos del transporte y su accesibilidad (no fue mi caso), al salir del hotel ví muchos huéspedes molestos, la experiencia dentro del inmueble muy padre. Pueden mejorar en sus bebidas ya que está muy endulzadas, sus habitaciones lindas, puede mejorar limpieza. Supervisar la calidad de los alimentos, en general, están en buen estado y deliciosas... Rara vez encontré piezas muy muy duras. Fue una buena experiencia y sin duda regresaría. :)

Aspectos positivos: el servicio del personal es muy bueno o en algunos casos excelente. Existen todas las comodidades para niños, adultos, parejas, adolescentes... Para todos hay opciones. En general los alimentos son buenos y variados y el acceso a restaurantes es rápido. Aspectos de mejora: la temperatura del agua de las albercas podría mejorar, inclusive con clima caliente es agua fría. La carne de las hamburguesas y hotdogs es muy mala, recomiendo ni probarlas.

Zona de habitaciones muy bien distribuidas por módulos, limpias y con un buen servibar surtido. Le faltan unas botanas miniaturas para complementar. Se observan pequeños daños estructurales, denotando falta de mantenimiento. Los restaurantes El Torote y la Mansión dejan mucho que desear, en cambio el Carusso, mucha variedad delicioso y buena atención de los meseros.Por la noche espectáculos en el teatro, atendiendo también a los niños. Muy bien.Las piscinas muy amplias y limpias. Muy bien.Recomendable, costo-beneficio nivelado.

One star because zero stars isn't an option. Weather was phenomenal and the guy calling taxis was very helpful, that is the end of the positive reviews. Not even sure where to start but food was terrible, the best thing I could find was grapefruit for breakfast. Actually lost weight staying here so I guess that's a positive? Left the resort and ate locally for my meal of the day 5 times. Drinks were okay? Requested "topshelf" alcohol but most of the time bartenders would just put their house option in. Gave up on that hassle and just drank can beer out of my room until I decided to buy a bottle from the local liquor store. Friendliest employee was the guy calling for taxis, most others acted as if you were bothering them. Would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Although the presentation was beautiful the customer service was horrible.In addition to that, the food was not good and the 24/7 service was not that at all.The room service was cold sandwiches and when you called they acted as if you were a bother.The remote didn’t work so we had to get a new one, the air conditioner was either cold or hot no in between and a Milky Way and change came up missingfrom our room which was so petty to us.You literally had to leave to get a good meal.The one stand out was the Neon Party at the Santa Fe, it was pretty fun and high energy.Overall I give it a 2, we will NOT be retuning.

El lugar bello y el hotel confortable. Venimos cinco días a descansar. Pero.... Olvidamos a los spring b. Y eso hizo la diferencia. La comida siempre disponible hay que cuidar los horarios. Los restaurantes de especialidad llenos pero logramos ingresar al de estilo oriental y al de mariscos. Falto el italiano. Imposible disfrutar la alberca 😔 por las tardes noches asistimos a los eventos de entretenimiento y en general disfrutamos el show. Las habitaciones limpias y en general todas las instalaciones. El personal amable y muy servicial.

The room had a nice view and the staff were friendly. The room in building 7 was dated and smelled musty. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and lumpy. To get into the shower you had to take a really high step up and the tub was slippery (so be careful getting in and out). The food was not warm unless it just came off the grill and didn't have much taste. The safe only worked part of the time. The elevator door closed quickly even while holding the open button, it would close on you even if you were half way in.

Before I booked this hotel, I read all reviews, there is only one thing I agree that Spirit is not the best. 1.check-in is fast 2. Room is remodeled and looks a new one. 3. Facility is located in the best place . 4. Customer services (waiter/waitress)are excellent. 5. Breakfast I gave $2 tip, Lunch $2-5, dinner $5.I didn’t drink too much but each cup I paid $1.Very very good hotel for a family!

Had an amazing time. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Very family friendly as well. Just be careful on the floors. My boyfriend slipped and fell twice. Dry off thoroughly! We finally got the okay of the land about 3 days in. We tried all the food except the Mexican restaurant, but even the themed restaurants had much of the same food as the main buffet, so we aren't missing out on much. I ate my fill, drank too my heart's content, and really did enjoy everything about this trip. I'd definitely return one day.

Review is based on a pool visit here and not a actual stay.Grounds - Very high end looking resorts especially the pool area. Pools are very nice and kept up, decent seating area, and good location for restaurant areas outside.Staff - Everyone seemed very whatevers and not to happy to be at work and keeping it very casual.If asked for something they would help.Crowd - This place is definitely an older crowd that just wants to go to a quiet place and keep it chill. Pretty chill but not to my liking.Overall it looks It looks very nice, but too quiet for me.

The rooms were a little dated but it was fine. Everybody was really nice. Will definitely go back. Beautiful Resort. Great customer service. Awesome atmosphere. Great food unless you are picky like myself. Meaning I don't like to try anything new and enjoy my American Cheese burgers and french fries hahaha. Silver did an amazing job at greeting us every day we were in Cabo and even took the time to remember our names and made us feel special. He is so friendly and does his best to help with any questions or concerns you have. Also great at gathering guests to play bingo, pool games and volley ball. Very informative about shows going on every night at 9pm. Alex was a great waiter. provided the best service by constantly checking on us throughout the night at the 9pm shows. Very friendly gentleman.

Great resort. Clean. Beautiful scenery and delicious food throughout each day. Lots of activities. Silver is a great employee. He takes the time to get to know the guests and their names. Whenever I see Silver he makes me feel very welcomed and remembers my name. Very helpful when needing to find out what shows are going on at 9pm each night and great entertainer during the day for bingo and ping pong. Also he is incredibly handsome!!! Alex is a great waiter. Super hilarious and very friendly. Alex would bring me drinks without me having to ask him. He provides amazing service!!

I definitely don't understand why this hotel gets a 5 Star rating. The food was less than desired, the hotel is aged and the nightly shows were less than professional. Overall the staff was professional and very accommodating. The beach view is amazing. We went to work out at 6:00 am and the gym was open but you could not turn on the lights. We always requested bottled water and were told the water was filtered. We all left with Montezuma's revenge which really made vacation less than pleasant.

Un Hotel increíble, lo tiene absolutamente todo, buen ambiente,excelente vista, las habitaciones completas y muy bien aclimatadas, las albercas son muy grandes y para todas las edades. Son alojamientos todo incluido, con restaurantes de comida italiana, mexicana y salón de eventos tanto al aire libre como cerrados. La arquitectura tipo californiana y mezcla con mexicano Dan un excelente ambiente y el servicio es de lo mejor. Sin olvidar la parte del bebidas incluidas botellas en tu habitación. En lo personal una de las mejores opciones de hospedaje en los cabos.

Great place to stay. 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk down the beach to Cabo San Lucas. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. All inclusive means exactly that. Never once had a hard time finding a drink. They have people at the pools bringing you food and drinks. They were only at about half capacity due to COVID, but that was great. The place wasn't overrun with people and you didn't have long lines trying to get in to the restaurants to eat. The main dining area was great for breakfast. The steakhouse and Japanese restaurant were amazing. Also very easy to get a ride to wherever you want to go. The concierge is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Excelente lugar, en lo particular un trato muy bueno por parte de todo el personal, los restaurantes excelentes mi única queja es quizá en los cócteles muy artificiales lo cual le baja calidad a las bebidas, en cuanto a las instalaciones muy agradables todas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente para escaparse del estrés y la rutina. Cuenta con una excelente ubicación y una linda vista.

Nos la pasamos increíble mi pareja y yo , todo muy bien con todo y las medidas de seguridad. La habitación todo estaba limpio, y no hubo problemas con respecto a instalaciones.El trato de algunos empleados podría mejorar, entiendo la presión que pudiesen tener al atender a tanta gente pero aún así son algo secos u groseros, también hay muy buenas personas que se ganan bien merecidas sus propinas.Lo único malo podría decirse es que mi prometida olvido unos cuadernos en la habitación me comuniqué una hora después de mi checkout y me dijeron llama más tarde, lo volví a hacer y no me contestaron. Al día siguiente marque y me dieron un correo que porque no era el departamento correspondiente para ello, ya pasaron 4 días y aún no recibo respuesta.Salvo ese ligero asunto , sin pensarlo me volvería a hospedar en el hotel.

El hotel es bonito y extenso, tiene variadas opciones de entretenimiento para todas las edades y cuenta también con diferentes opciones de alimentos, el personal en general es amable, y su app resulta bastante útil, la limpieza es buena y los cuartos son cómodos. Estuvimos 9 días en septiembre'20. Nos gustó, la comida del buffet la mejor y más variada, las de los restaurantes temáticos no nos gustó tanto, casi que podías comer los mismo en el buffet. Por ejemplo, un restaurante japonés/asiático sin sushi?, un italiano sin pizza?, eso pasaba en los temáticos. En resumen con la comida, cenar en el buffet, que teníamos barra libre de camarones, langostas, sushis, etc, etc. La atención del buffet la mejor, siempre acompañado de nuestro camarero favorito Alex, el mejor y más simpático camareroLuego, las albercas, dicen una zona tranquila (lado derecho) y una zona ruidosa (lado izquierdo), si te sitúas mirando desde desde el balcón de la recepción. Las albercas en general muy bien, siempre con sus hot dog, nachos, hamburguesas bien ricas. De lunes a Viernes, creo que pasaba el carrito del elote y del mango. Los camareros de la alberca, los más atentos Celia y Alberto, los mejores, siempre muy atento. Las bebidas, pues las típicas de un todo incluido.Lo que no me gusto, es que permitan bocinas en las albercas, allí cada cual con su propia bocina era un poco mareante la situación, uno con música R&B, otro con música ranchera, otros con música reggaetton y así, más la música de la alberca te volvías locoFaltaban más actividades en la alberca, pero por las circunstancias en las que estamos pues han quitado muchas. Los shows en la noche, bueno podrían ser más amenos, tener más variedad, pero lo mismo, por las circuntancias, demasiado.La limpieza muy buena, cambian el minibar cada dos días, pero si necesitas más cosas llamas y ya te lo traen.Una vez que llegas al hotel, el cubrebocas sólo lo usas para recoger la comida del buffet y poco más.@sergio9243Gracias y saludos

Had an amazing stay here. The hotel has a classy look and feel to it, but is budget friendly. The staff is very helpful and friendly, stayed during late August 2020, and everyone took precautions to ensure everyone was safe during this Covid situation. The room was clean, had the ocean view room. They do have a blanket inside the closet if you get cold at night. They don't provide conditioner or body lotion, just shampoo and bar soap. There are 5 restaurants to choose from, including a buffet. Many options available at the buffet. There are 3 pools, including 2 party ones. Usually we hung out at the one on the Santa fe side. One of the reasons why I was excited to visit cabo was this hotel, I'm glad I stayed here. The town isn't at a walking distance, must take a cab (no ubers are allowed in Cabo). Also, there is an ATM inside lounge 24 that provides currency in pesos. Although the staff does accept tips in dollars too.

What a great week we had! Our room with a view was spotless, and the room service excellent. Like in most hotel chains, the first up would secure the loungers in our favorite spot. It was no big deal. The food was always fresh and good even in the other restaurants. Non of us got sick. When we needed change, we went to the front desk or asked one of the servers wholly. accommodated us graceful It was never a problem. In all, we had a great experience. We would stay there anytime.

This hotel is on one of the prime beaches in Cabo San Lucas. We booked through Expedia, which requires you to book a separate shuttle to and from the airport. If you book directly through the RIU website, a hotel shuttle is included. Overall the resort is showing some signs of age, but the overall experience is not degraded because of this. The staff was accommodating and hard-working, and they definitely wanted to make sure that you had a good time. The food was subpar, and was the only disappointing part of the entire stay. The access to activities and the city center is very easy. It is important to note that Uber is available, but you must make a lengthy walk to the gate and often down the street to be picked up. Uber was much more affordable than taxis and shuttles, but there are government regulations that make it harder (yet not impossible) to utilize. Tips were welcomed by everyone we encountered at the resort. We will likely try to stay at the Riu Baja California next time since it is newer, making the ability to utilize the beautiful pools at the Riu Palace worthwhile.

My husband and I had the great pleasure of staying 4 nights last week. We have 0 complaints, we experienced huracán Genoveva and we were amazed Hard work everyone did to keep all of the guest safe yet comfortable at the same time. It was amazing To experience the care of the staff even during that time. The food was awesome, rooms super clean, pools beautiful, view of the ocean extraordinary. Every one from the staff was so attentive, friendly, respectful. we cannot Say enough how much we enjoyed our selves. We will definitely be back and not only that but look forward to visit other RIU in other places. Thank you for an awesome 👏🏽 experience.

aside from lack of advertised COVID cleaning programs, hotel is tired....1 key item for me is the level of liquors. Being a Bourbon man, staying at a 5 star. I would expect to see something better...
