“Family rooms are spacious and clean, but furniture is older version, it needs an update with all the modern hotels around the country. Breakfast is full English breakfast buffet and other options, a great start for the day. No room slippers, and we tried calling housekeeping and the reception the first night we checked in but no one answered. I left a voice message for the housekeeping but no one bothered to call back too. Location is central but you need to walk to get to the other side of the road. The hotel is located on an up hill on a higher position the the main road. A short walk to the water canal.”

“A good hotel in most respects. The staff were personable, the room was clean, quiet and the shower was good.
Breakfast wasn't great, even for a typical fried buffet, but acceptable if you forget how much you're being charged for it.
The reason I won't be back though is the parking. It's a £21 charge per 24 hours, which depending on your room, is a significant % increase in the overall cost of the stay. There are plenty of alternatives to the Crowne Plaza in and around the city so I recommend trying one of them instead.”
