I had plannedto chill at the hotel enjoying the aircon and watching television but the TV channel wasn't even working. I rang your reception to request for assistance but receptionist said there is currently no network throughout the whole hotel therefore the TV is unable to run even local channels. I then proceed for my shopping and dinner with assumption that the network issue will be resolved by the time I return and to my surprise, the 'network' issue is still unresolved even after hours. I tried callingreceptionist but the staff doesn't even pick up the call. I never thought I would face a network issue on such a 4 star property. Have television that does not work or does not have the network to work at all! For the breakfast served on the 22 Feb 2022, the food is cold , coffee is not even warm.In short, your facility in your hotel has completely ruined our staycation.I want to encourage you to improve your network service as I don’t want anyone to ruin his or her vacation staying here. Cons: I was quite irritated by the front desk lady. She wasn't really quite approachable. Long queue to check in; luckily I checked in early at 2pm. Long queue at concierge desk. What irked me the most was that, I had booked 2 rooms and requested for the rooms to be adjacent to each other days before my arrival. However, while my first room was ready at 2pm, my second room was ready only after 3.11pm and it was after making 2 calls to the front desk. The duty manager was very aloof while attending to my queries. The reply given was that the hotel had to cater to my request for adjacent rooms, hence the delay even though I called in days ahead with this request. Hello? What kind of answr is that? Did I also mention that he answered in such a curt manner and hung up before I had a chance to reply?
Oh yes, I was having stomachache (due to my own misadventures in eating cockles elsewhere). The toilet paper wasn't of good quality... There was also no air freshener and essential oils diffuser provided in the rooms.
If you want a truly 5 star service from a 5 star hotel, you might want to look for it elsewhere.”

Escribo esta carta después de hospedarme en este hotel el 21 de febrero de 2022. Esta carta trata sobre las malas condiciones del servicio al cliente con una alta insatisfacción del cliente.Lo elegí después de revisar su sitio web, que muestra una imagen completamente diferente a la realidad.Desde que me registré, mi experiencia siempre ha sido la peor. Había planeado relajarme en el hotel disfrutando del aire acondicionado y viendo la televisión, pero el canal de televisión ni siquiera funcionaba. Llamé a su recepción para solicitar asistencia, pero la recepcionista dijo que actualmente no hay red en todo el hotel, por lo que la televisión no puede transmitir ni siquiera los canales locales. Esta carta é sobre as más condições do atendimento ao cliente com alta insatisfação do cliente.Escolhi-o depois de analisar seu site, que retrata uma imagem completamente diferente da realidade.Desde que fiz o check-in, minha experiência sempre foi a pior. Eu tinha planejado relaxar no hotel aproveitando o ar condicionado e assistindo televisão, mas o canal de TV não estava funcionando. Liguei para sua recepção para solicitar assistência, mas a recepcionista disse que atualmente não há rede em todo o hotel, portanto, a TV não consegue executar nem os canais locais. Em seguida, prossigo para minhas compras e jantar com a suposição de que o problema de rede será resolvido no momento em que eu retornar e, para minha surpresa, o problema da 'rede' ainda não foi resolvido, mesmo após o expediente. Tentei ligar para a recepcionista, mas a equipe nem atendeu. Eu nunca pensei que enfrentaria um problema de rede em uma propriedade de 4 estrelas. Before it is due to be taken over by Hilton Singapore Orchard on March 2022, Mandarin Orchard was having a promo so it was a deal not to be missed. With the great location and low price, it allowed for a wonderful staycation. A great regret that the earlier SG$100nett per night offer was missedThe 3 different rooms types of Deluxe, Superior Deluxe and Premier were the same size but with some differences in the rooms. The room with the best bathroom is the Premier Room with the wider and longer bathtub versus the older and smaller bathtub in the other 2 types.Due to COVID-19 Safe Management Measures, the Pool is only open to 5 persons per 1 hr time slot. However, the pool is only opened from 7am to 7pm daily and closes whenever there is rain. The gym is opened for longer from 6am to 9pm but is limited to only 2 person in there per 1 hr time slot. Also, users for either the pool or gym must be registered staying guests, not visiting guests.Breakfast was originally at the Chatterbox restaurant and it was awful with the food being cold and salty. When it was closed for renovation in preparation for the upcoming takeover, In-Room Breakfast was offered for those with breakfast inclusive in their bookings. Although the breakfast items for In-Room is similar, surprisingly, it tastes much better. The best of which was the Nasi Goreng Istimewa with Triple Sunny Sideup Egg. Yummy!Overall it was a great stay at a hotel with wonderful service and spacious room space at an affordable rate. Docking one star because of the shower over bath setup, which is very dangerous as it is a tripping, falling and slippery hazard.With prices for Hilton when it takes over the 2 towers showing up on the Hilton website already, this may be the last stay at this building given the high prices. Those are definitely prices that are all out to make up for the losses of these 2 years of COVID-19.

Una experiencia increíble y vale la pena el precio. Sí, era un poco ruidoso debido a la renovación, pero hasta ahora estaba feliz de mi estadía allí. Podría ser un pequeño inconveniente para acceder al hotel, pero una vez que sabes dónde entrar, ¡todo estuvo bien! ¡Definitivamente haré mi viaje de regreso allí!

Mandarin Orchard é uma boa escolha para uma estadia. Para os turistas que gostam de passar o tempo fazendo compras, está localizado bem no meio do distrito comercial principal. O serviço é fantástico e os quartos bem decorados. Observe que os restaurantes, a academia e a piscina do hotel estão fechados recentemente, pois estão em transição para o Grupo Hilton. O café da manhã é entregue no quarto hoje em dia, e eles servem um café da manhã médio que é muito satisfatório.

Mandarin Orchard is a good choice for a staycation. For tourists who like to spend time shopping, its located smack in the middle of the prime shopping district. Service is fantastic and rooms well appointed. Do note that the hotel's restaurants, gym and pool are closed recently as they are transitioning to Hilton Group. Breakfast is delivered to the room nowadays, and they serve a mean breakfast that is very satisfying.

Spent my bday weekend with Mandarin, overall stay was pleasant and really value for money.The hotel is currently undergoing renovation and they are slated to convert to Hilton wef Mar 22. I believe they have adjusted the prices (?) so do adjust your expectations as well.My room was on the 26th floor, no bath tub sadly but I couldn't hear the reno at all. Room is clean, view is great. Albeit there were some other minor inconveniences - only 2 lifts are in use. Waiting time during peak hours can get long, might also have to wait multiple rounds for the lift to come again since it is too full to squeeze in. No breakfast buffet - food is delivered to your room. Check in process also took awhile.But other than that, I enjoyed my stay. All the staff were courteous and Ms Kana who handled my check in was really sweet. :)

Amazing experience and worth the price. Yup, it was a bit noisy due to the renovation but so far I was happy my stay there. It could be a little inconvenience to access to the hotel but once you know where to get in, everything were fine! Will definitely make my trip back there!

O hotel está passando por reformas, então é um labirinto para chegar ao seu quarto. Você precisa entrar nos elevadores do shopping center, descer no 5º andar e, em seguida, descer uma trilha estreita até outro conjunto de elevadores. Há 6 elevadores, mas parecia que 2-3 estavam regularmente isolados ou fora de serviço, então às vezes você ficava esperando séculos. El hotel está en proceso de renovación, por lo que llegar a tu habitación es un poco complicado. Tienes que entrar en los ascensores del centro comercial, bajar en el piso 5 y luego caminar por un camino estrecho hasta otro conjunto de ascensores. Hay 6 ascensores, pero parecía que 2 o 3 estaban aislados o fuera de servicio con regularidad, por lo que a veces tendrías que esperar años. Sin embargo, en general, es una muy buena ubicación, y probablemente optaríamos por quedarnos aquí de nuevo.

Localizado no coração de Orchard, distrito comercial. Bom lugar para fazer compras e comer, bom ponto de descanso entre as atividades. Local em reforma, COVID-19 medidas em vigor no momento da visita. Quartos em boas condições, embora pareça antiquado. The hotel is undergoing renovations so it’s a bit of a maze to get to your room. You’ve gotta enter the shopping centre lifts, get off at floor 5 and then walk down a narrow walk way to another set of lifts. There are 6 lifts but it seemed like 2-3 were regularly isolated or out of service so you’d sometimes be waiting ages. Overall a very good location though, and we’d probably chose to stay here again.

Located at heart of Orchard, shopping district. Good place to shop and eat, good rest point in between activities. Place under renovation, COVID-19 measures in place at time of visit. Rooms in good condition though feels dated. Need to book swimming pool for usage, unable to use during stay.

The hotel is clean and location is good for our staycation. But the bed is a little hard for my liking and the pillow is too soft. Other than that I liked all the other aspect of the hotel. The breakfast was good and the service was efficient.

I was a little unfazed when I arrived, nothing special on the outside but when I got to my room. Perfectly Pretty White sheets, perfect white crisp towels, spick and span clean and great air condition gave me such comfort and a good nights sleep. Other than a weird hum throughout, eventually I managed ro shut it out to get a good sleep. Really hot water on the tap, bathtub, Tennis court and amenities. Enjoyed my stay, would surely come back again.

First, thank you for the wonderful hospitality. From the check-in to the waiters and custodians. Everyone gave great service. I was a bit worried about staycationing being more expensive than what it was worth, but I was wrong. I wanted to support our local economy and also do something with the family. The Mandarin Orchard offered a buffet promotion and competitive room rate. We arrived at 12 noon, stuffed ourselves, and rolled up to our room. We took a nap and woke to enjoy Orchard Road at night; strolling and taking our time. We all slept in and then watched Sunday sports in our comfy bed. Excellent weekend, thank you!
