“Excellent stay. The service on the beach was phenomenal, special mention to Ronny for good service. We would always get a busy signal if we tried to call the front desk- but it was easy enough to go down there. It was in a quiet part of town but close to things. The pool was great and never super busy. If the chairs are all claimed at the pool then the staff will call you when some open up, usually within 10-15 minutes. You pay extra for an umbrella at the beach or a daybed on the beach. The room came with a small fridge, which was nice.”

“This hotel was probably one of my least favorite Marriott experiences and I am a very loyal Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member. You are truly paying for the central location because the hotel is in popular South Beach, Miami. The beach was wonderful and the hotel restaurant and beach staff were great. However, the front desk staff was very disappointing. There was constantly a line in the lobby and when I checked in at 12:30pm I had to wait an hour and a half for my room to be ready. Once we were in the room, the shower would consistently flood the bathroom floor and there was a lot of wear and tear in general in the hotel room. One of the bathroom lights was out and the other made a strange noise. The bedding was dingy and the pillows and mattress weren’t very comfortable. Lastly, this was my first trip away from my 4 month old son so I was pumping and storing the breast milk and they refused to help me freeze it at the hotel. They said they would send up a fridge that had a freezer (that never came) and the woman at the front desk said that she would only take the ice packs to freeze if the fridge with freezer never arrived. It was very disappointing and upsetting for me as a new, breastfeeding mother.”
