“We stayed along with our friends on 26th November last year and the hotel was clean and modern but our room was very cold but reception did supply us with a heater. The service in the hotel completely let them down. Ordered cooked breakfast and waited nearly an hour and then was partly cold when they finally brought it, after we asked what had happened to our breakfast. This was the same every morning. We also tried the restaurant onSaturday evening and honestly couldn’t believe how bad the service was as we had never experienced anything like it. Waited 45 minutes for our main meal to come and when it did arrive it was cold so had to go back and waited another 25 minutes and was cold again. Our friends had same problem too, with food being cold when it was brought to our table. We asked is there a staff shortage and his reply was yes because staff were concentrating on dealing with room service so we were being neglected. Not surprisingly the chef would not even come out to speak to us when they said room service took priority. We were paying guests so we’re not happy at all, and I was the one to recommend this hotel to our friends so I felt I had let them down. Disappointed Monica Taberner”

“Lovely hotel only about a 10 min walk to paddigton station (underground and also trains to heathrow or other parts of England). We stayed in a deluxe double room so we had a (very) small seating area which let us spread out our bags a bit. Bathroom has one of those silly showers that gets water everywhere but the pressure/temp were great so it was no bother. Beds and bedding were comfortable and clean. We were on the ground floor but because the hotel is in a residential area it wasn’t loud. The AC worked very well. Incredibly easy to get to Hyde park. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby, or take the underground where ever you’d like to go. The breakfast was worth the 14 pounds - plenty of hot entree options and a great continental spread. The server at breakfast really went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone working at the hotel was kind and welcoming.”
