Planning a very special party and having your best friends coming to Charleston? My suggestion- The best is the Hampton Inn, located on Daniel Island. Close to everything. The nicest accommodations. They'll be well taken care of. You'll be proud to have friends and family stay there. Perfect for those hectic weekends. Sit back, choose your favorite cocktail and know you have chosen a beautiful Inn for your guests to stay at!!

Great property and wonderful staff. The lobby area was clean throughout from the complimentary coffee and lounge/sitting area. The clerk that checked us was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and had all we needed. Decorated modern. I did use the gym during this visit It was clean as well. They had a sanitizer wipe station for guests to wipe down equipment before and after use locate just outside the gym door. I appreciate that more then you know. Breakfast was perfect. There was fresh fruit, oatmeal, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, cereals, a Waffle station and much more. So if you left there hungry...you slept through it or you're too picky. Either way then that would be on you. Close walk to Relm and other restaurants. There is sideways and they are lit in the evening hours. I always recommend to not walk alone , use the buddy system to be safe. The sidewalks are great for jogging. There was always foot traffic. Thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful experience. Be well and my wife and I will see y'all soon. PS My in-laws stayed in another room and the were happy with their stay as well.

Very nice hotel...clean, well maintained. But, the reason for the review and 5 stars is all about the help and that help is Kevin at the front desk. He absolutely wowed me every step of the way with his wonderful attitude and demeanor, his dedication to making my stay positive, and his overall personality and ease to converse with him. Truly the best service I have ever received from the front desk at any hotel I've stayed at.

During the work week, this hotel was well maintained. The staff working breakfast were excellent (one lady, I believe Laura) went above and beyond caring for the guests). Very safe area to stay. Felt like I was staying at a 4* property! Hotel has a Charleston feel to it. However, I agree with other reviews as there was a noticeable atmosphere shift on the weekend — sports teams running around etc, breakfast area was dirtier etc.

This hotel was accommodating in every way possible. The air conditioning stayed cold and on all night long,which is unlike Marriot that over rides the temperature if there is no movement. The sheets did NOT smell like fragrance had been added, which I personally find fragrance repulsive. The soaps and towels were good quality. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was bountiful, two types of waffles, different egg choices each morning, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit and really GREAT coffee. The employees were all friendly and helpful. The pool was nice to sit around and very clean. In fact, this whole hotel was very clean. There were good places to walk the dogs and the parking lot was big and safe. This location is very convenient for walking by the water and driving into Charleston. STAY HERE, you will enjoy the peacefulness.
