“The main issue is that the building is old and not sound proofed. The first night we got room 312, which was close to construction work that started at 7:00 AM and made it impossible to talk, let alone sleep. It is a huge red flag if you give rooms to your clients where you cannot sleep. We changed the room to 301, which was near another construction site on the main street. This was a bit better, but still couldn't sleep later than 8 - 8:30AM because of corridor noise. There were other smaller issues like poor wifi, bad room service (not replenishing cutlery / paper cups), and not very welcoming reception staff. A shame, because other NH hotels where we've stayed (Gran Hotel Zaragoza, Gaddi Firenze) provided a perfect experience overall. I guess if you're on a business trip or like to wake up at 8:00 AM this is a good choice, but for holidays it's quite bad.”
