Great convienent location! It is right by downtown Ottawa next to Byward market. Walking distance to everything. Our room has a great view facing the Parliament. It is nice and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. We also had a couple of great breakfasts in their restaurant Feast + Revel. We will certainly come back again next time when we visit Ottawa.

Always love my stay at the Andaz, their very accommodating and friendly. The suit was nice and with a great view of the heart of Ottawa. Rainfall shower and bath are amazing!

Nice hotel room but we paid a premium for a room with a parliament view... Instead we were on the 6th floor with a view of the Marriott's roof and couldn't see parliament at all. Extremely poor service to charge for something and not follow through. No beverages or treats upon check in as some older reviews mention. Poor parking situation. Overall very average and left me wishing we had stayed at the Fairmont for a very comparable price.

My stay at the Andaz in Ottawa was a short, but a pleasant one. I booked one night only, as my trip in Canada was not long lasting. I checked in online and due to my tier within their loyalty program, they gave me an upgrade to a suite, which I enjoyed. Everything was spacious designed and from the 14th floor you had a very nice view to the Parliament Hill. The bed was comfy to get a good rest during the night. I would stay in this Andaz hotel again!

I really had a great experience here at Ottawa Andaz. other than the clean room, nice view at the top floor restaurant and friendly staff, I can tell you this story! I dropped my airpod case in the elevator hole!! they were kind enough to involve their elevator service company to find it and called me about it after I had left the hotel. This was one of the best customer services I have ever experience :) Considering unique stays I had twice at Andaz Amsterdam, I really will choose Andaz with a peace of mind from now on :)

I had a wonderful 3 nights stay. Great location and view. Most importantly, great team of staff from front desk, to the restaurant and rooftop, staff and the happy hour on the rooftop with a nice sunset view. Great breakfast selections and high quality gourmet egg dishes downstairs at Feast and Revel. It’s worth to go in there for breakfast even if you are staying at the other hotel. Of course, it’s better if you stay at Andaz too ;)

O hotel fica na região central, bem próximo a pontos turísticos. Fomos a pé fazer os passeios. O quarto é grande, cama confortável, banheiro espaçoso e limpo. Tem um Starbucks bem perto.

Mais uma grata surpresa em nosso passeio pelo Canadá! Logo quando chegamos fomos surpreendidos com a presteza e atendimento do pessoal, que além de nos orientar dos principais pontos turísticos e atrações que não poderíamos perder, nos deram de cortesia uma taça de vinho que estava maravilhosa!Além do atendimento e localização, que também fora um dos pontos fortíssimos, a limpeza; conforto e tamanho do quarto fizeram da nossa experiência no Andaz perfeita!

I ate at the restaurant and spent the night vomiting gluten. I asked the server who supposedly ask the chef about gluten in the food.I even specifically referred to the sauces when asking about gluten. I was told that the food was gluten free. The food was clearly not gluten free. One or more of the items contained gluten. I spent the night vomiting gluten.

Perfect location. The convenience of having a quick breakfast on site would be better. The restaurant on site is ridiculously priced. The breakfast at the Le Germain is well thought out.

Best location in the center of the market! Room’s clean. Staff are nice! One thing that bothers me is we came back from the market after drinking probably around 2am. And there were a few young people wandering around outside the hotel gate n trying to get in, but they certainly didn’t live there. As they didn’t have keys to open the front door. Made my friend from Vancouver thought Ottawa downtown didn’t seem so safe😥. At least manage one or two male staff stay at the front door is better than leaving only one female young lady work during the night shift. That’s not it. When we arrived our room, there two young people looking drunk, sitting on the hallway chatting in front of our room. They didn’t seem have a room either, but how did they get in? They probably like to enter inside bcs it’s cozy and warm, quiet, better than being outside. They stayed at least up to two hours before I fell asleep, they were still there. Which means, the security didn’t pay much attention on CCTV either🙁. I hope this review will ring a bell to hotel managers and fix these problems.

Had a great stay here! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. View overlooking parliament and the market was really cool! They have a lovely roof top bar. The Resto was booked so unfortunately, I missed getting to try the food.

The hotel is trying to be chic and has some niche qualities for sure. But unfortunately, some basics were lacking with respect to comfort and maintenance - at least for our stay. We had a king room and all 4 pillows were far too soft. Not a huge issue since we called and had 2 more brought up. Would be nice if there were 2 soft and 2 firm as a standard though. The table in the room had wobbly legs also making it hard to work without it moving around quite a lot. The shower door also did not have a seal at the bottom meaning water would be all over the floor after a shower. Our towel was stained as well. And lastly, the TV did not seem to have a guide. We are still there for another night so I am going to see if I can resolve that.. it must have a guide. If we could switch hotels for our last day, we would unfortunately it's not worth the effort. I hope in future Andaz focusses more on guest comfort and room maintenance... and then the chic qualities that might set it apart. For a 4 star property, its over rated. I would say 2.5.

Rooms are great! The only reason I selected this hotel vs others was modern rooms and Hyatt brand name. However, the experience wasn't great. I am a vegetarian so like to view the menu before going to a restaurant. Both their restaurant menus weren't accessible online. You'd have to go physically to check. Parking related information could be shared proactively upon booking. Basic items like toothpaste, bathroom slippers, etc. we're missing from the room.

Andaz Ottawa Byward Market is right in the Byward Market. The location is central to many of Ottawa's attractions. It is an easy walk (around 10-15 min) to Parliament Hill, the Rideau Centre, and the National Art Gallery.The staff were friendly and helpful. Have requested some of the items and house keeping people did honoured it in a timely manner. On site parking size is small as they are sharing with private parking lot. There was a good view of the Market and Parliament from the eleventh floor and hotel room was nice, clean and very comfortable.

Good clean modern hotel. I found the room a little small - in a room with 2 queens I would have hoped for 2 chairs and a desk but there wasn't enough space. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. My main complaint is with the website and App from which I wasn't able to find information on parking, amenities, opening times and menus. However, when I used the app to text I did get prompt helpful replies.

The hotel was very clean and modern, but the real jewel of this hotel was its staffs. Me and my family stayed here for only one day, but the people I met, from valet to reception, made a fantastic impression as they were very friendly and helpful. I believe that the employees' attitude towards the guests is far more important than fancy facilities, which I found that many hotels, even four-to-five star hotels, seems to forget. Andaz Ottawa obviously did not. The downside was the view of the rooms we got. I reserved two rooms and the hotel gave me rooms that were both on the fourth floor where the view was almost completely blocked by another hotel right across the street. The hotels were so close that you could literally see its insides, and we had to close our blinds during our stay the whole time. Nevertheless, I am still impressed by the hotel's professional staffs and its modern rooms (obviously lot of thought went into its design).

The Andaz in Ottawa has its ups and downs, it was stellar on opening and maintained a high level of service for a while. It then had a terrible dip in service and room cleanliness. For the last year, I've seen nothing but improvements -- covid weirdness notwithstanding. Still the best property in Ottawa, and by far the best Hyatt property in Canada (barring the ever-in-renovation-Toronto-Park-Hyatt).

Cuando llegamos al hotel a las 7 de la tarde, nuestra habitación no estaba lista, pero la joven de recepción nos invitó a unas bebidas en el bar del hotel, y al ratito ya estaba lista. La nota negativa es que reservamos una habitación con vistas y cama extragrande, y nos dieron una habitación sin vistas, en el tercer piso, y con dos camas. Eso sí, las camas individuales son tan grandes que pueden dormir dos personas en cada una. El minibar es gratuito, excepto las bebidas alcohólicas incluyendo la cerveza, que la cobran a precio de oro

Buen hotel y bien ubicado. Grandes habitaciones, modernas, amplias y cómoda cama. Tiene un parking donde has de dejar las llaves. Tiene un bar en la azotea con buenas vistas pero bastante mala música. Eso sí hay algunos detalles sin sentido, supuestamente el minibar es gratuito pero al final es solo lo que no lleva alcohol, y solo hay 2 cocacolas y 2 aguas. También tienes una cerveza o vino gratuito al llegar y resulta que te dan una lata de cerveza y un vino malo en la recepción, no es ni en el bar! Para hacerlo así sería mejor no hacerlo.
