“The room is huge and it provides good view of ocean, but the facility seems to be old.We booked this hotel for its jacuzzi with nice ocean view but there was some very bad smell coming from the jacuzzi.The hotel service was nice. They changed the room for us, but the the new room still have same issue and the water from jacuzzi was not clear.”

This is probably one of the better hotels in Uluwatu. It has a great pool and two restaurants, and they shoo the monkeys away as best they can. The rooms are large, very clean, nice and modern. The service was excellent too. The only thing with it all was most things were greatly over priced. The food and drinks at this restaurant were the most expensive of any we had during our 3 weeks in Bali. And they definitely weren't the best. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the Uluwatu temple which is great, and to a beach. But to get anywhere else they have a shuttle service and charge like 200k IDR for a 15min drive. They wanted to charge 700k to go to the airport. So best bet is to find a local taxi service. He only charged 250k for the airport. Still high for Bali, especially compared to Ubud, but I guess that's just Uluwatu pricing.

Quartos espaçosos, com jacuzzi de frente para o pôr do sol na sua varanda! Poderia melhorar um pouco nos menus de café da manhã, o jantar é saboroso e saboroso! Funcionários simpáticos, vistas deslumbrantes da piscina, numa falésia, com vista para o oceano. Algumas das minhas queixas são (a) do quarto até a piscina é uma viagem e tanto, tantos...muitas escadas íngremes. Eu viajei com minha esposa grávida e minha mãe de 68 anos e meu filho de 4 anos, e é um exercício e tanto descer a piscina (e voltar!) Deveria ter elevadores estendidos até a piscina também. (b) O ralo do chuveiro em nosso quarto de alguma forma não funcionou corretamente e a água flui pela porta de vidro. E a arma de fogo está mal posicionada, com mangueira muito curta e dura, nada conveniente. (c) por favor, melhore um pouco a limpeza do quarto. O hotel é bastante antigo, mas pode precisar de alguns reparos. A gaveta que continha o SDB emperrava as portas do armário toda vez que eu a fechava. Alguma fragrância pode ajudar como o sofá ou não sei bem o quê, mas libera alguns odores úmidos. O hotel oferece uma sessão de fotos gratuita (obrigado!), mas você terá que pagar pelas cópias, mas vale a pena. Obrigado Sr. Surya!

Ficamos tão decepcionados com a estadia no Anantara Uluwatu. Eu não recomendaria este hotel. Infelizmente, o hotel está realmente degradado e requer reformas e manutenção imediatas para chegar perto de manter sua classificação de 5 estrelas. Você pode ver em um ponto que era definitivamente lindo e a localização é sensacional, mas o hotel já tem 10 anos e eu não diria que reflete luxo 5 estrelas. O serviço foi ótimo, claro (mas este é o padrão normal em Bali), mas pelo preço que pagamos por noite, o hotel e as comodidades não eram nada satisfatórios. Antes de Anantara, ficamos em Seminyak no Indigo Hotel e este era 5 estrelas e Anantara não estava perto desse padrão ou nível de luxo. Anantara foi quase o triplo do preço que pagamos pelo Indigo, então nossas expectativas eram altas e ficamos totalmente decepcionados, mesmo quando chegamos. A "grande entrada" estava degradada e os azulejos sob a placa Anantara precisavam de uma grande limpeza / substituição - isso deu o tom para o resto do hotel. Embora existam definitivamente algumas áreas pitorescas, nossa impressão principal foi que era realmente degradado e não um hotel de 5 estrelas, nem refletia o hype / preço. Neste caso, as fotos do hotel não refletiram o que vimos e é por isso que estou escrevendo este comentário! Eu gostaria que tivéssemos lido mais antes de ficarmos!

Nos decepcionó mucho nuestra estancia en Anantara Uluwatu. No recomendaría este hotel. Desafortunadamente, el hotel está muy deteriorado y requiere renovaciones y mantenimiento inmediatos para siquiera acercarse a mantener su calificación de 5 estrellas. Puede ver en un momento que definitivamente era hermoso y la ubicación es sensacional, pero el hotel tiene 10 años ahora y no diría que refleja el lujo de 5 estrellas. El servicio fue excelente, por supuesto (pero este es el estándar normal en Bali), pero por el precio que pagamos por noche, el hotel y las comodidades no fueron satisfactorias en absoluto. Antes de Anantara, nos habíamos alojado en Seminyak en el Indigo Hotel y este era de 5 estrellas y Anantara no estaba ni cerca de este estándar o nivel de lujo. Anantara era casi el triple del precio que pagamos por Indigo, por lo que nuestras expectativas eran altas y nos decepcionó por completo incluso desde que llegamos. La "gran entrada" estaba deteriorada y las baldosas debajo del letrero de Anantara necesitaban una gran limpieza/reemplazo; esto marcó la pauta para el resto del hotel. Si bien definitivamente hay algunas áreas pintorescas, nuestra impresión principal fue que estaba realmente deteriorado y no era un hotel de 5 estrellas, ni reflejaba el bombo / precio. En este caso, las fotos del hotel no reflejan lo que vimos y por eso escribo esta reseña. ¡Ojalá hubiéramos leído más antes de quedarnos!

We were so disappointed in stay at Anantara Uluwatu. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is really run down and requires immediate renovations and maintenance to even come close to maintaining their 5 star rating. You can see at one point it was definitely beautiful and the location is sensational, but the hotel is 10 years old now and I wouldn’t say it reflects 5 star luxury. Service was great of course (but this is the normal standard in Bali) but for the price we paid per night, the hotel and amenities were not satisfactory at all. Prior to Anantara we had stayed in Seminyak at the Indigo Hotel and this was 5-star and Anantara was no where near this standard or level of luxury. Anantara was almost triple the price we paid for Indigo so our expectations were high and we were totally let down even from when we pulled up. The “grand entrance” was run-down and the tiles under the Anantara sign were in need of a big clean/replacement- this set the tone for the rest of the hotel. While there are definitely some picturesque areas, our main impression was it was really run-down and not a 5-star hotel, nor reflected the hype/price. In this case, pictures of the hotel did not reflect what we saw and that’s why I’m writing this review! I wish we had read more before we stayed!

Spacious rooms, with a jacuzzi facing sunsets on your balcony! Could improve a bit on the breakfast menus, the dinner is tasty and flavorful! Friendly staffs, breathtaking views from the pool, on a cliff, overlooking the ocean. Some of my complaints are (a)from the room down to the pool is quite a journey, so many...many steep stairs. I traveled with my pregnant wife, and my 68 year old Mom, and my 4year old son, and it's quite an exercise just to go down the pool (and back!) should have extended elevators down to the pool too. (b) The shower drain in our room somehow didn't work properly and water flows out from the glass door. And the bum gun is awkwardly positioned, with very short and stiff hose, not convenient at all. (c) please improve a bit cleanliness of the room. The hotel is quite old but can use some repairs. The drawer containing the SDB jammed the cupboard doors everytime I close it. Some fragrance might help as the sofa or I'm not sure what, but it releases some humid odors. Hotel gives you a free photo sessions shoot(thank you!) but you'll have to pay for the copies, but it's worth it. Thank you Mr. Surya!

Tivemos nosso casamento lá. Foi um grande momento! A equipe foi incrível e útil. Comeram em ambos os restaurantes, apreciamos cada refeição. Os quartos eram espaçosos e muito limpos. Custa um pouco mais para os quartos lá, mas você ganha muito mais pelo seu dinheiro. Ótimo pôr do sol!!!!!

Tuvimos nuestra boda allí. ¡Fue un gran momento! El personal fue increíble y servicial. Comí en los dos restaurantes, disfruté cada comida. Las habitaciones eran espaciosas y muy limpias. Cuesta un poco más por las habitaciones allí, pero obtienes mucho más por tu dinero. Grandes puestas de sol!!!!!

Tucked away location with endless ocran views and high quality overall. The buffet breakfast was highly satisfying with both balinese and western choices. The signature massage was sensational and perfect way to relax. The only improvement I could think of is the complimentary dinner as the portion was small and the taste was just above average. Lots of stairs which made moving around the resort a physically taxing exercise.

Tivemos uma estadia de lua de mel de 3 noites muito memorável, a suíte com piscina de frente para o mar é definitivamente incrível e tem uma vista de tirar o fôlego. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e acolhedores, desde a recepcionista, garçons e até o fotógrafo. Também jantamos no Dining by Design, onde a capela estava lindamente decorada e perfeita para um jantar romântico. Tentei todos os restaurantes e todos os alimentos têm um bom gosto, mas o café da manhã ainda pode ser melhorado. Há muitas atividades que podemos experimentar, e a sessão de fotos gratuita de 30 minutos foi muito divertida.A melhor hora para visitar é durante a semana, pois não está lotado e é muito seguro visitar durante a pandemia.Apenas tome cuidado com o macaco ao comer o café da manhã flutuante😂Até mais, Anantara Uluwatu 💙

visited Anantara during pandemic times & grateful to be able getting special price for their 3BR Villas with Garden View. Downside was just that it’s near one of the bug temple there & so you’ll expect few monkeys lingering on your private pool (but worry not as you can get the staffs to help you with that)the whole villa was so comfy that you can even fall asleep on their living room that are separated from bedroom. Main bedroom was perfect, very spacious included with a Jacuzzi Tub and they providing you with bubble bath soap as well. You can also get floating breakfast (with add charge) if you want.Tips: do check prices from their staff directly, sometimes their doing a random sale

Had a very memorable 3 nights honeymoon staycation, ocean front pool suite is definitely amazing and has a breathtaking view. Staffs are very friendly and accomodating, starting from the receptionist, waiters, and even the photographer. We also had dinner at Dining by Design, where the chapel was beautifully decorated and perfect for a romantic fine dining. Tried all the restaurants and every food has a good taste, but the breakfast still could be improved. There are a lot of activities that we can try, and the free 30 minute photo session was very fun.The best time to visit is during weekday since it is not crowded and feel very safe to visit during pandemic.Just beware of the monkey when eating the floating breakfast😂See u again, Anantara Uluwatu 💙

Recomendado se você ficar na área de Uluwatu. A primeira coisa que me veio à mente é que Anantara é velho. Como fiquei e explorei, acredito que a expressão correta seja 'velho, mas ainda dourado'. O interior do quarto definitivamente não era moderno para o padrão atual, mas era muito espaçoso, embora tenhamos optado pelo quarto mais barato. A vista era de tirar o fôlego, os serviços aos hóspedes eram de primeira qualidade e a comida do café da manhã era uma das melhores que eu e meu amigo já provamos. Passeamos pela praia (eles têm elevador na lateral do penhasco!!), participamos de algumas atividades do hotel e também tivemos sessões de fotos gratuitas de 30 minutos.

Recomendado si te alojas en la zona de Uluwatu. Lo primero que me vino a la mente es que Anantara es viejo. Mientras me quedaba y exploraba, creo que la expresión correcta es "viejo pero todavía dorado". El interior de la habitación definitivamente no era moderno para el estándar actual, pero era muuuy espacioso a pesar de que optamos por la habitación más barata. La vista era impresionante, los servicios para los huéspedes eran de primera categoría y la comida del desayuno era una de las mejores que mi amigo y yo hemos probado. Dimos un paseo por la playa (¡tienen un ascensor al lado del acantilado!), participamos en algunas actividades del hotel y también obtuvimos sesiones de fotos gratuitas de 30 minutos.

Recommended if you stay in Uluwatu area. The first thing that came into my mind is that Anantara is old. As I stayed and explored, I believe the correct expression is ‘old but still gold.’ The room’s interior was definitely not modern by current standard, but it was sooo spacious even though we opted for the cheapest room. The view was breathtaking, the guest services were top notch and the breakfast food was one of the best I and my friend ever tasted. We strolled around the beach (they have an elevator on the side of the cliff!!), partook in some hotel activities, and also got free 30-min photo sessions.

If you like bubble baths while watching waves crash and surfers surf, this is where you should stay. They’re “basic” room is huge with a full wrap around couch in the living area and of course a jacuzzi for two on a balcony that still has plenty of room to relax outside. You can also take an elevator from the infinity pool down to the beach. Staff are also very friendly and accommodating!

Reservamos este hotel por recomendação de um amigo, mas a realidade foi muito decepcionante. O botão do elevador deve ser pressionado ou toque com força para pressioná-lo com sucesso. O colchão parece velho, não é bom para dormir, o banheiro também cheira, a descarga do vaso está travada, você tem que pressioná-lo por muito tempo antes que a água saia. Não pode jogar na praia porque o elevador está em manutenção.o pior é que, se você quiser pedir que o café da manhã seja entregue no seu quarto, será cobrado 150 mil por pessoa, ambos significam que será cobrado 300 mil. mesmo que escolha um quarto que inclua café da manhã. Também foi dito, não há necessidade de um pequeno-almoço jacuzzi, apenas dois pratos de comida, você não precisa de mais nada, você ainda cobra muito. É uma pena durante a pandemia pedir que a comida seja entregue no quarto ao invés de ser cobrado uma taxa irracional e procurar dinheiro

Reservé este hotel por recomendación de un amigo, pero la realidad fue muy decepcionante. El botón del elevador debe presionarse o tocarse con fuerza para presionarlo con éxito. El colchón parece viejo, no sirve para dormir, el baño también huele mal, la cisterna del inodoro está atascada, hay que presionarla mucho tiempo para que salga el agua. No se puede jugar a la playa porque el ascensor está en mantenimiento.lo peor es que si quieres pedir que te lleven el desayuno a la habitación, te cobrarán 150 mil por persona, ambos significan que te cobrarán 300 mil. aunque elija una habitación que incluya el desayuno. También se ha dicho, no hay necesidad de un desayuno en el jacuzzi, solo dos platos de comida, no necesitas nada más, todavía cobras eso. Es una pena durante la pandemia pedir que se entregue comida en la habitación en lugar de cobrar una tarifa irrazonable y buscar dinero

Definitely will go back to stay at Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort! I’ve had the greatest experiences during my stay there. Love the view, love the breakfast, love the private beach, love all the facilities and the services. My favorite spot to watch the sunset is on the open space under the chapel.

JUST UNSATISFYING experience.Don't believe with the extra service package for photo shoot in this hotel, its really unprofessional.My appointment supposed at 05.15 pm at lobby (which booked 1 day ahead), on the day the staff request for reschedule, but I was stick on first schedule & he also agreed my request for short photo shoot which will be less than 30 minutes as the package offered.On 05.10 pm I waited at lobby & was assist by the helpfull front desk, wait till 05.30 pm the photographer never showed up & I had to go out, can not wasting my time for this free photo shoot. Untill I came back to my room around 12.00 am & check out in the morning, there is no even a call to explain the photographer neglected me or apologize.Don't ever take any advantage for this free complimentary as your hotel offer if your team can not delivery the service. Please take note I booked this hotel not becaused of the free photoshoot.This is the biggest mistake for me staying at this hotel.

Anantara Uluwatu - 5 estrelas - 1.798 mil O quarto é grande, se você quiser pingue-pongue também dá, falta colchão, parece hotel muito antigo de 2012, então acho que a manutenção é diferente do hotel Laguna de 30 anos, mas tudo bem . Há um jacuzzi no quarto, uma piscina infinita e uma praia de pirvatas.

Eu fiquei no Anantara Uluwatu em 27 de setembro de 2021 e fiquei no quarto 625, uma experiência muito agradável. para uma localização super boa mesmo estando um pouco longe da cidade, mas vale a pena pelas vistas e facilidades apresentadas, as instalações e a simpatia de todos os funcionários são muito boas, pois as instalações de alimentação também são muito boas com uma variedade de opções , e o mais importante é que este hotel implementou um CHSE muito bom. Para um depósito, quando fiz o check-in, tive duas opções de fazer um depósito de quarto ou não. Obrigado Anantara Uluwatu, bom trabalho e até mais !!!

Me alojé en Anantara Uluwatu el 27 de septiembre de 2021 y me alojé en la habitación 625, una experiencia muy agradable. para una ubicación súper buena, aunque está un poco lejos de la ciudad, pero vale la pena con las vistas y las instalaciones presentadas, las instalaciones y la amabilidad de todos los empleados son muy buenas, porque las instalaciones de comida también son muy buenas con una variedad de opciones , y lo más importante es que este hotel ha implementado un muy muy bueno CHSE. Para un depósito cuando me registré, me dieron dos opciones: dar un depósito de habitación o no. Gracias Anantara Uluwatu, buen trabajo y nos vemos de nuevo !!!

Ótimo serviço e ótima localização. Eu particularmente gosto do restaurante com vista para o mar durante o café da manhã e da hospitalidade incrível que o pessoal deu durante a minha estadia lá. A localização dá uma sensação de paz. A única informação que posso dar é que o resort não é realmente adequado para idosos / deficientes, uma vez que tem muitas escadas, algumas delas sem acesso para cadeiras de rodas. Além disso, minha estada lá foi uma experiência relaxante e agradável

Gran servicio y buena ubicación. Disfruto particularmente del restaurante con vista al mar durante el desayuno y la increíble hospitalidad que el personal brindó durante mi estadía allí. La ubicación da una sensación de paz. La única entrada que puedo dar es que el complejo no es realmente apto para personas mayores / discapacitadas, ya que tiene muchas escaleras y algunas de ellas no tienen acceso para sillas de ruedas. Aparte de eso, mi estadía ha sido una experiencia relajante y placentera.

Great service and nice location. I particularly enjoy the ocean overlooking restaurant during breakfast and amazing hospitality the staff gave during my stay there. The location give out a peaceful feeling. The only input i can give is the resort isn't really elderly/handicap friendly since it has plenty of stairs with some of them having no wheelchair access. Apart from that, my stay there has been a relaxing and pleasant experience

Excellent cliff hotel in Uluwatu! Finally I'm able to have a proper comfort place to stay after my surfing trip. Hotel area is huge w/ plenty of facilities, i.e. beautiful infinity pool, mini theater, bar, and access to beach. Would highly recommend you Anantara if you happen to be in Uluwatu, also if you wanna go surfing. Beautiful hotel and great service!

Stayed for a night with two kids ( 3 yo and 5 yo ) in room 603 - Ocean front pool suite.. the Room was big and has a private pool in the edge and looking to ocean. Jacuzzi hot water with bath tube in the balcony terrace was great with connecting door to the bath room. Very great design for romantic ones. Big and long sofa are availables in the room. The breakfast were good. The beach' elevator didnt work when we arrived but it worked on the day 2 around 2pm- 5pm as the low tide issue.. this resort really needs to improve the house keeping and the maintenance of the room and facilities though...not too clean for a 5 star hotel...
