“I stayed here in 2013 and was my first experience of staying in Paris. The room was small with 3 beds, clean and tidy. The building appeared to have been renovated in stages as some floors were noticeably different in fitting to others. It was a little careworn, but warm comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and generally helpful. The area around the canal and Republique was lively and there was lots of variety for eating out and some great small bars.
I have since returned to Paris several times, staying in different areas of the city, however, for an introduction to Paris life staying in the Absolute in Republique is something I will do again.”

Rooms were nice but only 1 plug to plug-in phones, not good for a couple. Apart form that, hotel was small and clean. Good price,
