“Good location, 2 min walk from Manchester Picadilly train station. Only 19 car park spaces, so better for train travel. Typical DoubleTree except no cookie offered at check in, has that changed? Stayed in a queen superior 844, but did not receive a daily newspaper as quoted. The shower was grand but it did not appear to be a power shower as quoted. Bathroom and TV were a little small for a DoubleTree. On arrival, the room had several long black hairs around the bathroom but were gone after cleaning next morning. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. I had a late breakfast but before 10am and they had run out of side plates and no butter on the table and remaining glasses at juice dispensers were all hot to touch. Check-out was quick as typical Hilton.”
