“I’ve been to Dubai multiple times but this was my first stay at the V hotel. On arrival we were welcomed and helped immediately. We were checked in by Peter and Tartiana who were both very helpful. The room and the interior of the hotel has a modern futuristic look which I love. The bathroom is beautiful and clean! The beds are huge and comfy. We also had a very nice view from the room.
The breakfast has a lovely set up, a good variety as well as good quality food. The staff are very friendly, Robert Sasin was very helpful and delivered an excellent service at breakfast.
The only issue would be the location of the hotel as it is abit far from shopping areas I would like to be at. The hotel does offer bus services to go to Dubai mall at certain times as well the beach.
Overall I give this hotel a 5star for service and for the actual rooms. I would definitely stay her again.”

“First of all, when I called the V call center to inquire about special corporate rates, I was told that it cannot be disclosed via the call and the hotel receptionists may help me in this case, but when I spoke to one of the receptionists, Mercedes, she said that the corporate rate that I'm looking for is not available nor are there any rooms available.
I proceeded with booking through the call center and presented the reference number to the receptionist, and she insisted that there are no rooms available except for the special needs.
After bringing in the manager, Abdulla, to further discuss about the issue, he said that there was one room available but would take some time to have it prepared. When I mentioned the corporate rates to him, he said that they are available, which is completely the opposite of what his colleague said.
Unfortunately, the manager came back to inform me that he cannot give me corporate rate discount because it's "full", and I am not sure what he meant by that.
I was very dissatisfied with the hotel reception overall. I did not feel welcomed at this point, and it seems that they do not know how to treat their customers since it took nearly two hours to go through their tedious procedures. I had to fight hard to finally get a room. they said it's a non-smoking but there's an ashtray beside me as I'm writing this feedback.
TL;DR: Staff are not aware of the corporate rates and may give false information. The manager is not so cooperative.”
