I should have checked to make sure there was an airport shuttle.There isn't.So add ~ $30 to the rate if you are going to/from airport.Lyft/Uber about $15 each way.Taxi refused to take me on such a short trip.The hotel is fine and clearly they have tried to update it with new carpets and furniture but it's old and the room smelled of a sad mixture of mildew and air freshener.Window permanently sealed so I couldn't get any fresh air into the room.:-(Nice folks and good free breakfast. Just watch out for the $100 fee for “incedentals” that they charge to your card and refund it a few days after you check out. Staff was friendly and informative. Room was clean and neat. The bathtub was slightly clogged but nothing super bad and staff were really sweet about it. Nice place all in all. A equipe foi amigável e informativo. Quarto era limpo e arrumado. A banheira estava um pouco entupida, mas nada super ruim e os funcionários foram muito gentis com isso. Lugar agradável em tudo.

We arrived to Houston airport at 12:30 in the morning, my husband called the Hotel to let them know we were on our way and that was when we were informed that the hotel was over-booked and there were no rooms available. The person answering the phone gave no solution of where we were supposed to sleep, and considering it was already past midnight that was pretty important. We booked the hotel over two months ago and the hotel didn't even contact us to let us know the reservation was cancelled - no email, no call, nothing. Run away from this hotel if you actually want a place to sleep. Se eu pudesse dar zero estrelas eu daria! Chegamos ao aeroporto de Houston às 12:30 da manhã, meu marido ligou para o hotel para avisá-los que estávamos a caminho e foi quando fomos informados de que o hotel estava lotado e não havia quartos disponíveis. A pessoa que atendeu o telefone não deu nenhuma solução de onde deveríamos dormir, e considerando que já passava da meia-noite, isso era muito importante. Reservamos o hotel há mais de dois meses e o hotel nem nos contatou para nos informar que a reserva foi cancelada - nenhum e-mail, nenhuma ligação, nada. Fuja deste hotel se você realmente quer um lugar para dormir.

I called the front desk in an attempt to either switch rooms or get some sort of accommodation. I only had the room for one night & I assume that’s why the front desk receptionist wouldn’t accommodate switching the room or at least discounting it. The only offer was a full refund and a apology about the room smelling badly because house keeping doesn’t turn on the a/c when no one is staying in the room & once the air starts flowing the smell will disappear. Also, the room is sweating. I don’t frequent Houston enough to know the area and my partner was having car trouble so we couldn’t leave. I contacted Marriott customer service, total opposite response. Very helpful & understanding. I also found out my current hotel had extra rooms the attendant just didn’t want to switch the room. Maybe it would’ve been a better room idk. But whatever the case DO NOT STAY HERE! The rooms aren’t maintained well. The a/c doesn’t cool the room && I’m pretty sure the carpet is molded especially if the building is old and the room sweats! chegou na noite de sexta-feira (27/05/2022), fez check-in no quarto do hotel. Uma vez que cheguei ao quarto, a primeira coisa que o cumprimenta é o cheiro do tapete. Cheirava a mofo e instantaneamente fez meu estômago azedar. Liguei para a recepção na tentativa de trocar de quarto ou obter algum tipo de acomodação. Eu só tinha o quarto por uma noite e suponho que é por isso que a recepcionista da recepção não aceitaria trocar de quarto ou pelo menos descontá-lo. A única oferta foi um reembolso total e um pedido de desculpas sobre o quarto cheirar mal porque a manutenção da casa não liga o ar condicionado quando ninguém está no quarto e quando o ar começa a fluir, o cheiro desaparece. Além disso, o quarto está suando. Eu não frequento Houston o suficiente para conhecer a área e meu parceiro estava tendo problemas com o carro, então não podíamos sair. Entrei em contato com o atendimento ao cliente da Marriott, resposta totalmente oposta. Muito útil e compreensivo. Também descobri que meu hotel atual tinha quartos extras que o atendente simplesmente não queria trocar de quarto. Talvez tivesse sido um quarto melhor idk. Mas seja qual for o caso NÃO FIQUE AQUI! Os quartos não são bem cuidados. O ar condicionado não esfria o quarto e tenho certeza de que o carpete é moldado, especialmente se o prédio for antigo e o quarto suar!
