“The property was very nice. On the surface the property is lovely. The staff was decent.For a hotel that holds the Marriott brand it didn’t not meet the standard when it came to the room or service.The air conditioner had been turned off. To make up for this the tiniest fan about the size of my palm had been provided.I tried to call the front desk but the phone wasn’t ringing through. Instead I received an error message stating “this number is no longer in service”.I can understand that the air conditioning had been turned off for whatever reason but why substitute an air conditioner DURING A HEAT WAVE with the smallest fan on earth?! When I asked the front desk if we could get another fan she spoke to me as if I should be satisfied with what I had been provided and insisted that one fan per room was the policy. Ok, but can I get a fan that’s bigger than my palm!I was told that the phone requires that I press the number 0 to get the front desk vice using the pre set service button on the phone.We went to the shop and purchased bottles of cool water only to get back to the room and find that the mini fridge had been removed from the room. The fridge was removed but all the dust, hair, and grime left.We tried to call the front desk again to request room service. This time suing the 0 button as we were told to. The phone just rang and rang no one ever answered. I just walked to the bar an ordered myself. The man that took my order laughed when I told him that I tried to call the front desk saying “no one answered did they?” He then told me not to wait and that he would have my food brought to my room.Imagine my surprise when I saw I had been charged £4 fee for room service!This is not what I expect from a Marriott brand. Ok, mas posso arranjar um leque maior que a palma da minha mão!Foi-me dito que o telefone exige que eu pressione o número 0 para obter o vice da recepção usando o botão de serviço pré-definido no telefone.Fomos à loja e compramos garrafas de água fria apenas para voltar ao quarto e descobrir que o frigobar havia sido removido do quarto. A geladeira foi removida, mas toda a poeira, cabelo e sujeira foram embora.Tentamos ligar novamente para a recepção para solicitar serviço de quarto. Desta vez processando o botão 0 como nos foi dito. O telefone simplesmente tocou e ninguém atendeu. Eu apenas caminhei até o bar e pedi a mim mesmo. O homem que anotou meu pedido riu quando eu disse a ele que tentei ligar para a recepção dizendo “ninguém atendeu?” Ele então me disse para não esperar e que ele levaria minha comida para o meu quarto. Imagine minha surpresa quando vi que me cobraram uma taxa de £ 4 pelo serviço de quarto!Isso não é o que eu espero de uma marca Marriott.”

“Amazing hotel in a beautiful location. Room very spacious with lots of amenities. Hotel has a complementary leisure club which includes gym, swimming pool, sauna. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to try out as we stayed over one night. Excellent location if your looking to stay near Blackpool beach as only 25 min drive. Breakfast was also included with our room which was excellent and had everything with required. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again in a Marriott hotel.
