Confortável e sofisticado

Eu fico regularmente neste hotel por pelo menos 2 semanas cada vez, muitas vezes mais tempo. Minha experiência deste hotel e toda a equipe é excelente. Eu recomendaria este hotel a todos. Todos os funcionários são muito educados e atenciosos e sempre tornar a minha estadia uma experiência maravilhosa. Eu tenho que conhecer muitos dos funcionários regulares e contá-los como meus amigos. Eu sempre fico neste hotel enquanto estou em Shenzhen, pelo menos 4 vezes por ano e tenho recomendado a muitos dos meus amigos, parentes e colegas de trabalho. Eu não poderia ser melhor cuidada na minha "casa longe de casa". A equipe é bem treinada, educada etc e sei que posso confiar-lhes quando eu deixar meus pertences no meu quarto. Todos eles saem de seu caminho para tornar a minha estadia sempre agradável. Atribuir as melhores marcas a este hotel. Não poderia estar mais feliz e você pode dizer-lhes isso com o meu prazer. Walking into a Shangri-La is a bit like walking into a Starbucks - you know what to expect even whether you're in Taiwan or Turkey. It's strong branding and high level of service meant that we felt welcome from the moment of our arrival. Check-in was a fast and smooth process, and we were assigned a pleasant room with views of the pool and neighbouring Hong Kong. The room itself was rather dated and looked in need of refurbishment, but this shortcoming is reflected in the great value-for-money room rate. The flat-screen TV did not have a HDMI input, and there didn't appear to be an in-room dining menu. The mini-bar was empty and not stocked. There was a shallow bath in the bathroom. The sizable pool was where we spent most of our time, and while there weren't many sun loungers available, staff were able to move more out to the poolside promptly upon request. The adjacent gym is well-equipped with modern equipment. The pool was generally quiet during the day (as it usually is in China in the summer months), although it did get busier towards the late afternoon. Breakfast was a relatively uncrowded affair - always a welcome in any hotel - although the variety was somewhat limited. That said, the quality of food was generally high, with some excellent fresh cream accompanying the waffles and very tasty Sichuan minced pork noodles on offer. We spotted a dimsum buffet promotion which looked great, and we will be checking it out in future. Also, a huge plus point: the hotel did provide a Hong Kong wi-fi internet connection, which means guests have an uncensored internet connection during their stay.

The only thing upset me, In the restaurant, there are some of the restaurant's reception girls had a bad attitude, sometimes they laugh on the back of the people while getting out of the restaurant, which is an awful and un-respectful thing. Some of them give me a terrible face while she was thinking I am entering the restaurant without a reservation while I already gave the paper to the restaurant's reception.

Very friendly, helpful and cheerful service staff. They all make a difference when one travels to a country that is unfamiliar to him/her. So I absolutely enjoyed every encounter with the service staff at the hotel - from the receptionist, to the concierge, the staff at the cafe and restaurants, the sweet housekeeping lady, the staff at the Club Lounge and the staff at the health club. They were all amazing, providing service with a smile and ever so helpful.

I'm always greeted by name from the lounge staff, which is really nice. Additionally I got upgraded this time to a wonderful Suite, just excellent. Thanks to Julia and all her colleagues at the Lounge, you made again my stay to a stay like I'm home!

Excellent location and nice atmosphere in the hotel. Top class service. Tasty food.The best is the overall environment. The staff is very welcoming. We had a pleasant staying. Special mentions to April Li from front office. We had an unexpected stay in Shenzhen and did not booked any hotels beforehand. It was late and we were exhausted and April was very flexible to have provided us with connecting rooms at a reasonable rate. We had problem in online booking at that time, so in order to save all the hassle April just offered a similar room rate. Rated at “4” instead of “5” because my daughter was bleeding from a massive cut from one of your chairs from the lobby lounge. The nail on the back of the armchair was poking out. Room services was not as prompt as expected. Had to call a few times in order for someone to pick up; however the “very spicy” pepperoni pizza was impeccable.

I stay regularly at this hotel for at least 2 weeks each time, often longer. My experience of this hotel and all the staff is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. All the staff are very polite and caring and always make my stay a wonderful experience. I have got to know many of the regular staff and count them as my friends. I always stay at this hotel while I am in Shenzhen, at least 4 times a year and I have recommended it to many of my friends, relatives and business associates. I could not be better looked after in my "home from home". The staff are well trained, polite etc and I know I can trust them when I leave my belongings in my room. They all go out of their way to make my stay always pleasant. Award top marks to this hotel. Couldn't be happier and you can tell them that with my pleasure. Thank you.

I really liked our stay at the hotel. Rooms are clean, big, very welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and healthy. Location is great. I will sure get there again on my next visit to SZ !

Location close to the shopping mall was excellent. The staff were very good especially upon leaving when Denny, Felix and Bosco arranged a driver to take us to the train terminal. Such considerate young men. The hotel is very tired and run down but they try hard to make it a pleasant stay. The bed linen was very fresh and lovely to sleep in.

Staff in Horizon Lounge are extremely efficient, courteous, and polite. They were very accommodating of our needs. As return guests, we surprisingly noted Mina is very attentive and remember our preference. We love going back to stay again.

I would suggest this is not THE Shangri-La to stay in, as opposed to the one is Futian. The reason I say this is, I think - although I haven't stayed int he other one, this one is a little dated...
