Located right on the beach in Playacar two miles from Playa del Carmen the Wyndham is 20 miles from Puerto Morelos and the Riviera Maya. The tour desk can arrange visits to Xcaret theme park Chichen Itza and Tulum. Cancun International Airport is 35 miles from the resort.

“This was our second time at this resort and I can say it feels like home now. The rooms and the food are nothing special but everything else is amazing. The staff are friendly, the beach is beautiful, the entertainment is decent, and the drinks are....well... unlimited😂. The resort is very well kept and cleaned daily. Our room was also cleaned well daily. We had a great time and we will be back soon! Thank you Viva Wyndham Maya.”

“The resort was very fun to stay at even though it was raining several days I was there. Many of the employees are very funny and the food is very good. Some of the restaurants have strange meals like octopus, while some tend to have more common food like marinated chicken. There are also dozens of drinks to get all free of charge(Most have alcohol but there are probably ~2 dozen without alcohol). There are also shows every night that include dancing and occasionally acrobats that are very talented. This is a very nice resort to stay at if you get the chance.”
