“On the day of arrival we faced one of the biggest issues, understaffed check-in desk. We had to wait in line for a long time because there was only one person at the desk dealing with all the problems beside new arrivals. And let me tell you, there were a lot of those on both accounts. While waiting, the family who was checking in at the moment received the information that because they are foreign, they will not get their deposit back… I mean that is just wrong in every way, but still, no matter what the family or those around tried, the guy just did not give their money back. Unbelievable. After the wait and going through everything at the front desk, we finally went up to our rooms. Problem number three arose. Our group had six people, but the rooms only had beds for four. Back to the lobby, back to the line and the guy at the desk. Asking for a room change because apparently, our booking was wrong. At this I was kind of surprised because obviously we knew how many of us would be staying while booking but no matter, we agreed to pay the difference for an “update” for one room. Now ladies and gentlemen. We went through three rooms before we were able to settle down with one. Let me just make a side note here. I’ve read a lot of reviews on the way to the hotel labeled hell whole, which came really handy while picking the updated room, because you know, we knew what to look out for. At least on the surface. Like the TV that keeps turning on (solution: unplug), the awful smell that would not go away no matter what, cold water, blood on the “freshly made” beds, ceiling falling off, cockroaches and the list goes on. Of course some of you may already have the question, of why picking this location to stay… Excellent question, unfortunately it wasn’t my choice and didn’t have any say in the matter. Back to the topic at hand, after going through 3 rooms and after the guy loosing his patience at the desk, we settled down with room number 509. Let me just warn you here. Do not ever accept this room if you have no other means of staying elsewhere. On the surface it looked better than the rest besides a few things not working well, like the lamp not working, the fridge that freezes everything and the ominous spots on every surface available. However what we did not see coming was the next morning. After spending one night in the bed, huge red hives started to appear on my body all over. I already had my suspicions towards the bed but it became apparent after the second night, that yes, the bed has bugs in them. Fun fact, I tend to have allergic reactions to bug bites, even when it’s just mosquito bites, so dear reader, you can imagine my discomfort that followed. If anyone here has experience with bedbugs, they know that even sleeping in layers, changing the sheets, not using the comforter or cover and taking showers all the time will not help. Obviously, I had the worst reaction to these bites, playing the role of an indicator, while my teammates only had to bear the itching dance throughout the days. Oh the joy! Of course there are other issues also, like how your included breakfast is basically 2 eggs and 2 burnt toasts or awful tasting waffles, how the corridors have rotten fish smells all the time, how hygiene is clearly a foreign concept in the building and I could continue, but you get the picture. I honestly don’t recommend for anyone to stay here unless they are indeed looking for an experience like ours. In that case, good luck and don’t forget to disinfect everything when you get home!”

“The key card wasn’t working then when we got into the room the walls were stained, lamp was dusty, I opened a drawer and there was a wrapper, the bathroom. Let me tell you about the bathroom! First the tub was cracked and stained and dirty walls were dirty and stained and where the wall and the ceiling met there was dirt and Bathroom mold and I found an ant! Save your money and I rather spend much more and be happy then pay a cheap price. I guess you get what you pay for.”
