“The only reason I gave this hotel two stars is the fairly friendly staff. However, Not-So-Quality Inn should do a better job cleaning and inspecting rooms and perhaps training staff. To be fair, perhaps the hotel suffers a staff shortage that is plaguing the country now, or worse, a full staff that doesn’t like to work or take pride in their work for others. A note in the room pointed out that cleaning service is offered only on the third day. Even then, I had to request it, but it still was not done. Of two double beds, only one was made and it was sloppy. The floor was not vacuumed. I wondered what I had done not to receive the requested service. It appeared that the main clientele of this hotel are hard-working truckers, tradesmen, etc, who keep the goods and services produced by other hardworking Americans flowing in this country. They deserve better Quality accommodations.”

“The AC worked pretty well. That is the best thing I can say about this place. The beds seemed clean but they were very firm... the bedding, toilet paper, towels, and everything else in the room was damp from the humidity. Maybe because it is right next to a swamp? I enjoyed the sounds of the froggos though. 🐸 Apparently my son spotted a turtle too. 🐢 There were people hanging out in the parking lot smoking cigarettes all night and eyeballing the softshell cargo rack on our roof to the point where my husband felt the need to take it off the roof and stuff it into the car overnight to prevent theft. The room and hotel smelled like long time old stale cigarettes like maybe it was a smoking room for a long time before hotels stopped offering that. Based on the fact that I found lost items in the room that weren't ours, I wonder how well any cleaning is done there. The cable didn't work so you couldn't change the channel, so when it changed to a show totally inappropriate for kids we just had to shut it off altogether. In the morning there was hardly anything to pick from for their so called breakfast. The cereal was stale and the juice was broken. There were a few pieces of fruit and a waffle maker. Overall only slightly better than the worst place we have ever stayed. Like one step up from that so 2 stars.”
