“Esta é a minha segunda visita ao Marriot e estou ainda mais determinado a não escolher este hotel no futuro. Grande nome e 5 estrelas não vale o serviço. Os funcionários carecem de formação ou nunca foram avaliados, pelo que o serviço não está de acordo com as expectativas, muito abaixo dos hotéis de 4 estrelas, mesmo de 3 estrelas. Quando comparados com hotéis do mesmo nível localizados em Tunjungan que ainda estão sob a gestão da Marriot Bonvoy, a diferença é muito grande. Ficar dessa vez no saguão externo parecia sujo porque as folhas secas estavam espalhadas, a atmosfera no saguão estava lotada e meu quarto não era o esperado: a geladeira estava quebrada, não havia ferro no armário como de costume. O canal de TV desapareceu por horas e quando liguei para o serviço de hóspedes não houve desculpas, embora fosse apenas conversa fiada. O atendimento no restaurante não é melhor, eles oferecem chá e café, mas quando eu pedi drinks à base de ervas, o pessoal do restaurante só me mostrou o lugar sem oferecer take away. Qual é a diferença entre tomar chá / café e bebidas à base de ervas? No segundo dia, desci ao restaurante às 8h30 com fome, mas a equipe explicou que o restaurante estava cheio e foi aconselhado a voltar às 10h. Relutantemente, voltei para o meu quarto e me apoiei em uma tigela de popmie. Às 10 voltei e o restaurante estava realmente solto, mas em menos de meia hora o balconista veio até a mesa e disse que o restaurante fecharia às 10:30 sem mais delongas. Muitas vezes sou lembrado quando o café da manhã em um restaurante está quase fechando, mas a forma como é entregue é melhor, ao contrário do Marriot. Não é minha culpa que eu desci às 10 e estava morrendo de fome, eles não poderiam treinar melhor sua equipe? É um hotel 5 estrelas, mas o serviço não vale a pena. Apenas perseguir dinheiro sem melhorias no serviço e nas instalações.”

“Overall very nice. Rooms are spacious and very affordable. We stayed at the 1 bedroom suite, with great views over the city. Given covid and reduced capacity the executive lounge was closed and instead at the lobby lounge. It gets a bit busy there in the evenings, and unfortunately quite smokey. The pool area is relaxing, green and nice. It would have been perfect if there was a bar, or at least a service to order drinks/snacks. Everyone is very friendly, and service overall was good. On one day the internet was very slow. Called to ask and was ensured the staff would check with the technician and call back. I also asked about spa services and the Platinum benefits, and after being on the phone waiting loop for 5 minutes I hung up. Never received a call back. No big deal, but I'd expect attention to detail at a 5 star property, and at least basic service such as calling back when you say you call back. Room is very comfortable and clean. Overall the hotel feels a bit old. I was very surprised the the valet parking was charged at a fee for hotel guests. Perhaps consider making that complementary, at the very least for Gold/Platinum members?”
