Most beautiful hotel in the very heart of Granada. You wont need a car to get around, you can get anywhere in Granada walking. it is right in the centre of Granada. The famous Alhambra is just a nice walk away. So is the famous calle Elvira. The Hotel is spacious and wonderful build, the inner court ( el Patio ) is beautiful and on a sunny day it is a pleasure to spent some time and have a coffee. Please see my photos to get a good impression of the patio and the reception area.

Hotel de 5 estrellas que no devuelve el dinero a sus clientes por cancelación de reserva como consecuencia del estado de alarma provocado por Covid-19.El hotel lleva sin coger el teléfono y sin atender nuestra reclamación desde hace 6 meses.Este Hotel está operado por el Grupo Marriott Bonvoy como sello de calidad y confianza y del cual somos miembros platino. Sin embargo, tras contactar también con ellos (más de 5 llamadas internacionales con su coste respectivo y numerosos correos electrónicos infructuosos) sólo nos indican que la reclamación ya está en curso y que la devolución del dinero se realizará en las próximas semanas (así llevamos 6 meses y las "próximas semanas nunca llegan").En definitiva, la gestión y la atención de los clientes de este hotel y del Grupo operador es una VERGÜENZA. Nos sentimos totalmente estafados, sin reserva y sin dinero previamente abonado.Después de 6 meses de espera, nos vemos en la necesidad de interponer las acciones legales oportunas para reclamar las cantidades debidas por este hotel.

Charming boutique hotel in former convent. Prix fixe wine pairing dinner menu was outstanding. Service staff was very accommodating. Highly recommend. Marriott affiliation.

I am a Bonvoy Titanium member and I stayed here in September 2019 with my wife and baby.Hotel is both lovely, and a bit basic at the same time. The employees are very friendly and the location is very central in "downtown" Granada.Booked a standard king room for 163 EUR per night (including taxes). Was upgraded to a Junior Suite in the old part of the hotel. However, we have our crawling / standing baby and the room had a big step down to get into the room and then a sunken bedroom so it didn't work for us as the little one would be constantly bonking her head. They showed me two other rooms and we settled on a suite on the 4th floor in the newer part of the hotel. Although I was bummed to not be in the old section, this was actually more convenient as the elevator went straight from lobby to our floor without having to push a stroller over cobbled pathways.I think the second room was also a Junior Suite but this one had a completely separate living room which was fantastic with the baby. It also had a pull out sofabed.Breakfast is a delicious buffet. Cold items are free for Platinum / Titanium and you can order hot egg dishes (and other items) from the hot menu for 4 EUR to 7 EUR per item. There was no hot buffet area when we were there.Buffet was pretty good and beautifully presented. But was very carb heavy and sadly most of the yogurt was sweetened :-(Overall we enjoyed our stay, the room worked well for us and the location was fantastic for this two night visit to Granada.No special extra treats or additional amenities to recognize Titanium Bonvoy status were left in our room.BTW, my overall sense is that with a modest overhaul, this property could be a Luxury Collection. Bedding, furniture, fixtures was lower quality but could easily be upgraded. The property is just so pretty (see photos).

In winter ok as the location is close to perfect. However is summertime it might be a hot place inside a boiling inner city with not pool. The rooms in old convent are preferable to those on the new building. There are actually three different building in this hotel. The new building, the convent and behind it all a small moorish house with a very nice inner courtyard

The best hotel on our trip to Spain (visited Madrid, Córdoba, Seville, Granada and Barcelona). Staff were super friendly and helpful. Got upgraded to a room in the historical building and it was spacious and beautiful. They also put a keychain made with traditional Granada woodwork techniques as a souvenir for your stay

Excellent service by the front desk staff(Carlos & the other gentleman whose name I can't recall). Got our rooms ready a few hours before the check in time. Good location in walking distance from the major sights in Granada.

We were supposed to be upgraded, but the room had a window facing the corridor so we had to close the curtain all the time. It is a historical building restored, but the lobby and many parts of the hotel is new. Staffs are nice and room clean. Location convenient.

Great place to stay and unwind. The building is a 15th C convent, and much of the exterior reflects that history. There is a center courtyard that has several relocated gravestones from past sisters. That courtyard also serves as part of the restaurant and bar. Evenings have live music for a couple of hours (21:30-23:30 when we were there.) The atmosphere during that time was perfect. The rooms are clean and modern. La Alhambra is 10-15 minutes away by taxi, and there are shops and restaurants within walking distance, so the location is good.

A complete and pleasant surprise! I got upgraded to a room in the patio and wow was it beautiful! I got chills when I saw the courtyard. This is basically a 16th century monastery converted into a hotel. Absolutely gorgeous! As a lover of heritage and history, this was perfect. The room itself is average what you would find with other AC hotels but the setting makes all the difference. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Granada.
