I've been loyal to Marriott but the experience is seriously declining and this visit is a great example. No smart TVs or streaming, just cable. The fitness room is just 3 machines, two of which are broken and no weights, mirrors, TV or towels. They're out of coffee in the morning (blamed it on a missed delivery) and the in-room coffee maker doesn't work. They won't check you in before 3pm even if you're elite. This room should be $125, max, but definitely not $175.

We stated at hotel room 226 on March 3. Our AC did not work as well as room phone. We called front desk from cell, complained said they were busy and doubted she could get up there. And she didn't. After warm seepless night there was no one at desk as we lifted. So I addressed the concern with corporate. They immediately gave me a few points which I said was inadequate. Corporate said they'd have local management contact me...they didn't. Corporate said they found no record of our complaint and the issue is resolved. I guess it is for them. This is a hotel management and staff that does not care about the customer. You have other choices choose one that values you and your experience. I am taking my business to Hilton 66b

I booked 4 rooms for family members on graduation weekend and they cancelled my reservations the day before I arrived. After 3 hours at the front desk, they finally got us 4 rooms but charged different and higher rates than the original reservation. The rooms smelled bad, one was missing the refrigerator (just a hole where it was supposed to be), one door had a problem locking, and breakfast was not served one day while the other day it was not edible. We were unaware of it's location across the street from an unsavory Extended Stay, where loud music and squealing tires were common throughout the day and night. 6 months after our stay I finally got an emailed apology. They admitted their fault but thought a simple "sorry" was good enough. As a result, they get this review explaining the sub-par condition of the hotel, the sub-par neighborhood, and the sub-par customer service. One star was a gift, as no stars was not an option. I am a bonvoy member, only stay at Marriott properties, but this one....stay away.

Let's start out with the good. Amy, was efficient and personable on the phone working with details of our reservation. I love the extra surface space in the bedroom with how they designed the bed side table and television stand. Also the work table rolls out and fits between the bed to serve as a dining or game table. There's a cozy chair in the corner and with the roll out ottoman, you have a lovely reading nook. The bed was comfortable. The layout and size of the room were very nice. Negative: Notice the layers of dust on the bathroom vent. No liners in the trash cans. The room does cool about 5 degrees above what the a/c is set at so take that in consideration and the cooling will be perfect. Other Fairfields offer a non dairy milk in the morning. Not so here. The hot water at the coffee station in the breakfast area came out of a thermos that had contained coffee so it was not clear water. Just not super excited about coffee flavored hot tea. Since I had read reviews, when we checked in that evening, with I believe they said was Shawn, I specifically asked if there was ice on our floor. He stated yes. There was a child waiting to speak to him with an ice bucket in her hand so I assumed the ice machine on her floor was out. Nope, every public ice machine was broken. After my husband checked the broken machines and went to the front he confronted Shawn who stated he didn't know they were broken and that there was no ice in the hotel. My husband left the hotel to get ice. The front desk personnel stated this morning they keep ice for guests and there was ice. So an obvious liar at the front desk, not a good look for Marriott. I don't use the exercise rooms often, but there was a sign that only one treadmill is working and the rest of the equipment as well as the water fountain are broken. If you have gotten this far, it seems the positives are mostly Marriott design. The negatives are all from the lack of upkeep or care from the general manager and systems not put in place.

Staff was great. However, the photos of this place on the Marriott website are deceiving. The hotel is VERY outdated, washer works, dryer does not. Zero ice because the machine was down. Awful smell of cigarettes in the hotel too. Disappointed in Marriott for letting this hotel hold its brand.
