“Great area. Has the newest Courtyard amenities and lobby. Plenty of restaurants and eateries in the area. Definitely a return location. Much better that the hotels directly near Carowinds for that area.”
— Christopher Peterkin
“Nothing terribly wrong. Staff was kind and helpful. Check in was quick. Bathrooms wallpaper was coming off the walls, held up with clear packing tape. Grout and corners in the shower was dark from mildew/mold. Beds were comfy, however. Furniture seemed out of place, wires were exposed. Guess the cabinet that held the coffee was pulled back to keep it from blocking the HVAC vents...just seemed like an afterthought. Again, nothing terrible, just not what we come to expect from a Marriott hotel.”
