This place is not what I expected. It definitely need remodeling. The room was clean but the shower didn’t work so I had to take a bath. The walls were thin so I could hear people talking next door. Exposed wires in the ceiling where there was something previously mounted. I need at least 1 more night here in town but I will not stay here. I highly do not recommend this place until they remodel. As for the service here. Let’s just say they did there job at the very minimum. Don’t expect them to welcome you with a smile and offer help if you need it.I really hope this CIS get better. I had two rooms for a family wedding. My room was pretty good.My family member said taking a shower the tub drained slowly.Water backing up. The phone did not work. When i checked in i was informed that the indoor pool and hot tub were out of order.. one of the main reasons we chose that hotel and paid $230 for a 1 bdrm suite. We brought our seven year old. The lady in the front was trying to be helpful however when we checked out i was charged for smoking in the room and we did not smoke in there. First it was a $150 charge and when i called to question it, No one ever got back to me so i called again and now there is a $250 charge. My wife and I stayed here while heading down to Florida. Our thoughts:The good:breakfast was very good and they had a make your own waffle station, the bathroom was spacious and the shower was very hot and relaxing, the staff were very friendly and parking was plentiful and well lit at night.The bad: The interior style and design (and smell) of the hotel is more akin to grandmas country home then a “country inn”. They definitely need a remodel. The pool and hot tub were out of service. Our bedroom pillows were not full size and were just miniature 2/3 sized. The jetted tub in the room was big enough only for one person. The beds were only moderately comfortable and used a traditional spring mattress.The ugly: these rooms are in a serious need of a remodel ASAP. There were no USB charging ports anywhere in our room and make sure you bring charging blocks if you book a room here. The most modern thing in our room is the big screen TV and even then that is much smaller than most modern hotels. Also the price we paid for one room ($172) is outrageous for what we got. The inspection certificate in the one and only passenger elevator showed expired as of May 2022 (months ago) and the security door catch in the room was severely loose, I had to re-tighten it myself.Bottom line: go somewhere else until this place comes out of the 1990’s. This location is great since it has easy interstate access. The exterior is simply charming. BUT..... The interior needs some attention. The hallways t wreaked of marijuana. Very odd. Therooms are not like other hotels I experienced of this brand. I'm going to be kind and say that it is a place to rest for the night if that is your only criteria.I hate leaving less than 4 stars but in good conscience for other travelers I'm stretching it for the 3. I truly hate leaving bad reviews…. When I first got there it was kind of pleasant and refreshing and I overlooked The fact that Kandace(that’s what she told the person on the phone her name was spelled like) was having none of it from whoever was on the phone…. And I can overlook that because I understand that some customers are simply in the wrong and the customer is not always right….. But as the night went on I seen that she was short and abrupt with almost anybody and everybody…. Well with the exception of the guy that she was talking to him because of course he was doing nothing more than trying to hit on her and she was obviously excepting of that flirtatious nature…… and I understand I’ve got a pretty expensive bed at the house and it’s pretty hard to compare them but this bed was springy and the pillows were hard as can be…. Then on top of that the towels were pretty rough as well….. and the AC was blowing out a pretty musty smell………. The only reason that I gave it two stars was due to the fact that whoever was attentive at breakfast was professional and cordial…. Me and my wife stayed overnight in room 202 the night of August 4, 2022…. I can say it was at least quiet for the most part as well.Personally if I ever had to stay overnight in this area again I will simply go two exit south and spend a little bit of extra money…. Because the benefits are definitely there considering that there is also nothing worth eating around the area…. And if you go two exits south you’ll have everything that you need all in one small area from shopping to groceries Eu realmente odeio deixar comentários ruins…. Além disso, as toalhas eram bem ásperas também….. e o AC estava exalando um cheiro de mofo………. A única razão pela qual dei duas estrelas foi pelo fato de quem foi atencioso no café da manhã ser profissional e cordial…. Eu e minha esposa passamos a noite no quarto 202 na noite de 4 de agosto de 2022…. Posso dizer que foi pelo menos tranquilo na maior parte também.Pessoalmente, se eu tiver que passar a noite nesta área novamente, simplesmente irei duas saídas para o sul e gastarei um pouco de dinheiro extra…. Porque os benefícios definitivamente existem, considerando que também não há nada que valha a pena comer na área…. E se você for duas saídas para o sul, terá tudo o que precisa em uma pequena área, de compras a mantimentos
