“I stayed for four nights at both the Judy House in Negril and Sue's new site in Brighton, both were awesome. The Negril hostel was in between the beach and the other few places like Rick's in the opposite direction. It was away from the road so you didn't hear the honking and the people but not as far as to make it a hassle to walk anywhere. The amenities are what you'd expect to find at a hostel and the people there were some of the best. Mrs. H and Sue are both extremely nice and understanding and Sue was kind enough to take me to her other place in Brighton when I wanted to get further away from the touristy stuff (and the roster crows in the morning). Brighton was my favorite spot on the entire island. It was just on the other side of the road from the ocean, it was totally quiet and away from noise and city life, and it had hot showers (though I showered in the ocean). Since it's so new you sleep in a tent (which you know before you go there) and you need to bring your own food, sometimes locals would drive by with fresh fruits and veggies. When I go back to Jamaica I will be staying at both of these hostels again. I thank everyone I stayed with for sharing such a great experience with me and I thank Sue for providing such a great place for us all and for driving me around from Negril to Brighton and from Brighton to Savanna La Mar.”

“A very cozy place, they do have some issues when u book online which means that your booking might not be available when you show up. For me that happened, but they have some hammocks that are half price, and I got one of those... it was the best experience and I reclined when they offered me a bed inside the following night. The hammocks are sheltered from rain, there are mosquito net to stay "safe" and only annoyance is when the donkey down the street acts up... so the star lost from the booking trouble got back from the amazing hammock experience”
