“The location of the hotel is optimal, direct at the entrance is a public bus station from where you get to the city center of Funchal within 5min, walking will take 15-20min. The room was well equipped and offered a great ocean view. In general the hotel is clean, but we were a bit frustrated about the room service, one week and not only one time the room floor got cleaned. For a 4 star hotel low service. The breakfast is okay but do not expect something special on the plates. It is more or less everyday the same offer, but you will get enough. Worth to mention is the outdoor and indoor pool incl. whirlpool.”
